POVERTY

Being so far behindhand
Perspiring copiously
over the shaft
Couldn't discern
the exact location
Ceased amid of the street
So thirsty, gulped my saliva
Got stuck in traffic
At the moment, heard a
fusion of clink with rattle
Took a glance around
Oh no! found a begger
Wow... But for me she
seemed as a warrior
One hand was earning while other was holding baby
Both were engulfed by a
torn brown shawl
Unshampooed hair,
unwashed clothes
were just making her
look more pathetic
Had no sandals, but only
scars on her feet
"Smidge of bliss" she never
had in her fate
What a sovereign
society we have?
Baby's future is in vague
Nonetheless, it's laugh
was still strong
Though with fuzzy teeth
She came to me
Heart began to stutter
Words went about stammer
Granted her no money
Just a water bottle was
enough to satisfy her
Returned my empty bottle
with a solid twinkle
White skies with black clouds in her face held back the leaden rain
However, I wasn't capable
of clutch end mine
She was so free in this
so called busy world
Being a white dot on a
typical black board
Inadequate either to
move or to stand still
We're in a pivotal scenario, insights can do nothing
Betwixt their own entity
Money comes with an
offer of anxiety
Individuals are busy, maintaining
their relationship status
Speak about morality and ethics
Promise about service
Provided nothing even a verse
Should I call our society constrain as POVERTY or FRATERNITY?....
Remained as a quirie
forever and ever...
