Musutafu, Japan, is a city often labeled as one of the beacons of heroism across the world. A city that is the home to one of the most prestigious and acclaimed hero schools in the world, U.A. A city that has been patrolled by heroes that have inspired kids for many generations and no hero embodies the qualities of heroism in the eyes of the people more than the Symbol of Peace, All Might.

A man whose strength was said to be able to destroy any evil that stands in his way, a man whose smile can dispel even the most foreboding of darkness and a man who has inspired many kids to become the definition of a great hero.

And of all the kids that have been inspired by the actions of the Symbol of Peace, none have been quite as inspired as a young boy with moss-green hair and diamond-shaped freckles named Izuku Midoriya.

Even at an incredibly young age, Izuku found himself quickly impressed by the actions of the Symbol of Peace. While he was always the topic of conversation for many kids, most kids always talked about how he can knock out villains in a single punch or how the force from his punches generated winds strong enough to put out fires, but for Izuku it was different.

What stood out to Izuku the most was not All Might's seemingly immeasurable strength or his colorful costume that highlights his bulging muscles. No, rather it was that smile that seems to give hope to any civilian and his ability to seemingly save anyone no matter the situation that amazed the green-haired boy.

Izuku was already fascinated with professional heroes and the applications of all the amazing quirks as a whole, but it was All Might who became his greatest inspiration and the one to cement his goal in life: to become a great hero who can save anyone with a smile on his face.

In a bedroom located in an apartment found on the outskirts of Musutafu, we see a 4-year-old Izuku Midoriya scribbling in one of his many hero analysis notebooks with energy that would put the Duracell bunny to shame.

If his bedroom could be described as one thing, it would an All Might museum. Posters of All Might in various heroic poses that all feature his signature smile are found all over the walls. Izuku's desk is covered with All Might action figures from different ages of his career including the bronze age and the silver age, and his bed was covered with a comforter decorated with a pattern that matched All Might's current costume.

Scattered throughout the floor in Izuku's bedroom were pieces of paper with sketches of different hero costumes fit for heroes with different quirks such as one for a hero with a fire-breathing quirk, a hero with telekinesis quirk, or a hero with a pyrokinesis quirk. He was eagerly drawing a costume inspired by All Might himself when he heard a familiar voice coming from just outside his bedroom door.

"Izuku, have you seen the stack of sticky notes that I got from the department store today?" Inko Midoriya asked as she entered her son's bedroom. It did not take long for her to answer her question as she saw that right above Izuku's bed was a collection of sticky notes pinned to the wall all with the names of different family members of the Midoriya family from previous generations as well as their quirks with threads connected seemingly based on the quirk of each individual. It looked like something you would see in an office of a criminal investigator from a TV show.

"What is this Izuku?" Inko asked her son as she pointed her finger toward the wall that was now coated with sticky notes. "Oh, hi mom, I have been trying to look over our family tree to find out what my quirk will be," Izuku replied to his mother in his normal sweet voice.

Inko could not help but chuckle at her son's actions. "Of course, it had to do with trying to figure out what his quirk could be." she thought to herself. Ever since they got a call from the quirk doctor confirming the date for Izuku's appointment, it seems that Izuku's determination and excitement to find out what his quirk will be has increased tenfold.
