Lonliness is a feeling.

A feeling where you feel like you're in a constricted void, trapping your screaming voice and preventing you from calling for help. And even if you had the power to do so, you had the hunch no one would even bother. What was so special about you? YOU of all people? A nobody with an empty heart. A shell of someone who once cared. A play toy for someone who you thought cared.

You drown in your own sorrows, bubbles escaping the surface to your freedom. You chase broken promises in desperate attempts to take back what you once had long ago. Your shattered heart lays bare now, exposed to the cruel truth that you've killed your only happiness. Suffocated it, stabbed it, crushed it into little bits.

Lonliness is a feeling.

A feeling that plagues (Y/N). Oh, how did they even get here?

A new day reveals clear skies, the gentle breeze swaying a field of tall grass and flowers. The sun's rays danced up above as a group of shimmering gems came racing by. All except for two that came to an abrupt stop, nearly tripping over their own feet as they let the rest of the group run ahead to continue patrol,

"This is where I last saw Phos" One of the gems spoke up, crossing their arms over their flat chest as they observed their surroindings. Their (h/c) hair sparkled like stars, practically glowing from the bright sun,

"Ah, right" A peach colored gem sighed under their breath,

"Phos! I know you're here! Phos!" They called out, helping their friend take a look around. The two gems didn't have to look quite far though, as a glimpse of bright peppermint hair peaked through the tall grass,

"Master Adamant is looking for you" The peached gem spoke again as the head in the grass soon popped out to reveal it was indeed Phos. Dandelion pappuses clung to to their hair as they stretched their slim body, letting out a tired yawn before falling on all fours,

"Why is that?" They asked as they look over at the two gems, recognizing one as their best friend (Y/N),

"Beats me" The peach gem scoffed a response,

"Wait, you don't think...maybe Master wants me to join you all in battle?" An excited grin soon rose on Phos' face as the two other gems walked closer to them,

"I highly doubt that" Morga deadpanned. Despite their rather clear belief Phos was less than able to fight, Phos let out a triumphant laugh,

"I see even an ace like yourself is worried about what I might be capable of!" They declared rather loudly. (Y/N), who was listening to the entire conversation, also let out a small laugh,
