the doors of the police station open, and kaydence enters with her arms tied behind her back and her wrists secured with cuffs. alongside her was officer chapman who had an annoyed expression on his face.
blowing her hair from out of her face, kaydence starts to look around and her eyes fall behind her shoulder to see a boy with his hair pushed back into a back puff while wearing a white beater and jean shorts, looking over at her already.
she looks him up and down and looks away. "come on." chapman pushes her forward to go to the desk so she could get checked in. "this one was caught fighting around sugarhill. just need to get her signed in and then she's leaving when her guardian gets here."
the lady officer—penny, looks to kaydence, pushing the clipboard forward. "sign your full name dear?"
"can't do that." kaydence speaks, turning around to flash the metal cuffs that kept her wrists contained. "would you mind letting me free chapman?"
the officer huffs and grabs the key needed to unlock the cuffs. when done, kaydence massages her wrists and then grabs the blue ballpoint pen to sign her name in. "you have some nice hand writing." penny tells her.
kaydence pushes the clipboard back and smiles. "thank you."
"just wait over there until your guardian comes." penny tells her and she nods, understanding. the girl then turns to chapman and grins at him.
"nice hanging out with you chap." she pats his shoulder. "i can call you chap can i?"
"just go sit down." he grumbles, making her giggle before turning around to pick out where she was gonna sit at.
deciding to sit by the door, she walks over to where the boy who was checking her out earlier was sitting at with two more boys. pulling her phone out, she answers the call from her brother. "where the fuck you at?"
"on the way, august driving." kameron tells her on the other end. "well tell his ass to drive faster, it's his bum ass girlfriend fault as to why i'm in this shit."
