The tap on Mario's shoulder startles him more than it should, as Luigi hands him a plate of spaghetti.

"Hungry?"

"No—" He starts to lie, then his stomach betrays him by growling. "Starving. Give it here."

Luigi hands it over, laughing, right as they hear a knock on the door.

Mario looks over, confused, "That the moving guys?"

Luigi shakes his head, "Didn't bother. Most of my stuff was already here anyway."

Mario puts the plate down, "I better go see who it is.", and walks to the door.

"No, come on." Luigi tries to slow him down. "Don't you think the kingdom can take care of itself for today? How often is it your little brother moves back in and cooks?"

"You make a compelling point." Mario says, right as he reaches the door. "Here's my counter.", and proceeds to turn the doorknob and yank it right open.

And instantly regrets it when they see none other than Wario standing on their doorstep.

"Miss me?"
