Joy looked down at the river from the bridge.Seven week.She thought.Seven week after my life fell apart.Joy sighed as tears trickled down her cheek & she wiped them away.She pulled her hood up so she didn't get wet when it started raining.Joy took dog tags out of her pocket & looked at them.Good memories flooded her mind & thoughts as looked at it."Why?"She asked,"Why did it have to be Mitch?"Joy looked down at the water & saw something that only happened in movies.If only Mitch was really here.Joy kept her eye on the river.Arms wrapped around her, pulling her close.She looked up & saw someone she wished never left."Y-you're alive?"
"I am,"Mitch pulled Joy closer as she cried.The tears she cried weren't caused by pain, but by happiness.He picked her up bridal style & carried her home in the rain.Her head rested on Mitch's shoulder, making Joy fall asleep.He kissed her forehead & whispered something that made her smile.
