My 'trial' lasted for about two hours after that. Taehyung and his mom went to the hospital and brought back proof of my injuries as well as a testimony from a couple of the nurses and doctors that took care of me during my time there. "You're family loves you and that's very evident. It's also very evident that your story lines up with the proof that they brought." the judge says as she shuffles through the papers in front of her. "I've come to the decision not to send you to jail." I sink to my knees and begin to wail silently as she continues to speak. "My reason for this is because you did it in self-defense and you have already been dealt a bunch of hard cards to pass through. Instead, you will be sent to an asylum to receive treatment for your mental health as well as serving time there. You will be sentenced to serving four years there and once those four years are up, you will be a free man with a clean record." I can hear my family crying behind me.

"C-Clean record? But I-" "I'm giving you some slack since you're a minor and I feel like you have a good head on your shoulders. Don't take my kindness as a write-off, Mr. Jung. If you accept this, then tell your family your goodbyes and I will escort you to the bus that will take you to Jaded Stone." Without skipping a beat, I turn and hug my family for a while. Tears are shed yet again, but this time, there's a little bit of joy in them. "At least I don't have to be tossed in jail. I'm thankful she's taking it easy on me." I whisper to no one in particular. Taehyung peppers kisses all over my face and gives me a tight-lipped smile before giving me one final kiss, "I'm gonna miss you. I'll see you if they offer visiting hours." I nod, then turn to his mom, who has the same smile on her face. "We'll both be there, honey. Take care of yourself, okay? We love you so much." "I love you guys too, mom. I'll come back better and stronger than ever, I promise."

"Mr. Jung?" the judge says as she walks up to me, "Are you ready?" My shoulders shrug as I inhale and start to walk away from my family. "As ready as I'll ever be." The walk is quiet apart from the sound her robe makes as it flies through the breeze in the hallway. "Thank you." I mutter to her, causing her to turn her head in my direction. "For?" "Escorting me to the bus for my new home and not giving me a harsh sentence. For believing me." She smiles at me before speaking. "You're welcome and I meant it. It's evident that your family loves you and I believe the victims in my courtroom. You were obviously shaken up. You could also hear the regret in your voice on the recording." I give her a sympathetic smile and stop at the door for the bus. "You are also still a child, don't let what he did become a staple or your personality. I hope you get the help you truly deserve." I give her a short hug before walking onto the bus and sitting down alone in the first seat that I saw.

The scenery passes by in blurs of greens, blues, and every other color imaginable. After a while, we arrive at Jaded Stone. It was a two-story grey-ish blue building that looked well kept from the outside. A female in a doctor's coat is standing by a door with a clipboard in hand. Her line of sight turns to me once I'm escorted closer to her. "Hello!" she greets, "I'm Y/N, but you can call me Dr. Rhodes or whatever you feel comfortable with. Welcome to Jaded Stone Asylum." Dr. Rhodes glances down at her clipboard before looking at me again, "The judge already informed me on why you're here, so let's get you all settled in and we can talk a little after, okay?" We enter and the walls are a muted grey to match the outside. People sit and watch as we walk around, Dr. Rhodes takes notice of this. "Don't worry about them. They do that everytime someone new comes in. This is your room and because we are an asylum, the only thing we can give you is a pillow and a blanket."

As someone who's tried to commit suicide prior to all of this, I understand it. It's logical. "I'll introduce you to the other staff at a later time, but how are you feeling? Anything bugging ya? Uncomfortable?" My head shakes and just as I'm about to speak, two males rush in. "Y/N, we need your help!" "Jin, Jimin, what happened?" "Sam and Jungkook can't get the youngest patients restrained for her shots." "I'm coming, go!" They hurry off and Dr. Rhodes turns to me. "Duty calls. I'll be back soon, just stay in your room for the time being, okay?" I nod and she runs in the same direction those guys went. I sit on the bed and look around the room quietly. "This is pretty boring so far. Hopefully, we can decorate with some stickers. Too much grey." A little while later, Dr. Rhodes returns. "Sorry about that. You were answering my question, yes?" I nod again, "I'm not uncomfortable, just a little on edge. Also, can I decorate the wall with some stickers? It's bland and depressing."

She grins at me and marks something down on her clipboard. "I'll see what I can find, but until then, I can offer coloring pages and markers?" My head shakes eagerly as she motions me forward with a laugh. "Come on, Hoseok. We can chit-chat over coloring books." I follow behind her with a small smile on my face. I can do this, I'll make it.
