Leaving home

The decision

Samantha had always dreamed of visiting New York City. She longed to walk the streets of Manhattan, gaze up at the towering skyscrapers and take in all the sights and sounds of the city that never sleeps. Samantha had been saving up for years, and finally, she had enough money to make her dream a reality.

But as excited as she was, there was a part of her that was hesitant to leave her hometown and all the people she loved behind. She knew her friends and family would miss her, especially her boyfriend, Jake.
