Chrom: "We'll stop him, Lucina. I promise. The future can be changed. You two have proven it already. And with all of us together, we can turn the course of history." Chrom said place both of his hands on our children's shoulders.
Lucina: I want to believe that, Father."
Lucian: "Me too, Uncle."
Lucina: "We want to believe that, more than anything..."

And so we made our way inside Validar's Castle.
*Story beings*

(Y/N)'s POV

Robin: "Psst! Chrom!" I heard Robin whisper.
Chrom: "...Trouble?"
Robin: "I saw armed soldiers hiding in the shadows as we were shown in..." Robin informed.
Me: "Then it sounds like we have our answer already..." I whispered. That's when Validar and Aversa walked in.
Aversa: "Well met, milord and milady."
Validar: "Prince Chrom! Princess (Y/N)! Welcome."
Chrom: "...We were told you had something you wished to give us." Chrom said.
Validar: "My my! No time for courtesy, milord? Such impatience... Do you really want it that badly? This concerns me. The Gemstones and the Fire Emblem can be... treacherous artifacts. A fact Plegia and the Grimleal sadly know all too well..." Validar said.
Lucina: " 'Sadly'? You speak ill of when the first exalt used them against the Fell Dragon?" Lucina questioned as she grit her teeth in anger.
Validar: "Yes I do, intruders!" He yelled as he looked at my son and neice.
Lucian & Lucina: "...Intruders?" Our children questioned.
Validar: "You two are not supposed to be here. You must be destroyed!"
Me & Chrom: "You wouldn't dare!" We said as we protected our children.
Validar: "Give me the Fire Emblem... Give it to me! " Validar yelled.
Lucian: "You mad scoundrel! This is a declaration of war!"
Validar: "I will only ask one last time: give me the Emblem. Now!" Validar screamed.
Me & Chrom: "...Never!" We yelled.
Validar: "Then this parley is over. Guards! Seize them!"
Chrom: "Just as we thought..."
Robin: "Chrom, (Y/N), this way! Quickly!" And so we followed Robin, running towards the exit.

Narrator's POV

As Chrom and the others followed Robin to escape.
Aversa: "Robin had an escape route all planned out... How preciously clever of him. You should be proud." Aversa said.
Validar: "Hmph. If he had half the wits of his father, he would know they've already lost." Validar said folding his arms.

[Mini time skip]

Chrom: "We have to get out of here now! Cut down anyone who gets in the way!" Chrom yelled ordering the Shepherds.
Algol: "Heh heh. Signal the men in hiding, and give these Ylissean scum no quarter!" One of the commanders yelled. And so the fight began.

Chrom's POV

Me, Robin and (Y/N) made it near the direction where the exit is but was blocked by one of the commanders.
Algol: "Heh heh... Leaving Plegia so soon? No, please, stay awhile. Stay...forever!" He yelled and started to attack us. All the Shepherds got surrounded as more and more soldiers appeared.
Robin: "Chrom! There are more still coming!" Robin informed as the numbers doubled. I knew this wasn't going to end well.
As the fight continued we managed to kill the majority of Validar's men and we eventually destroyed one of the commanders.
Algol: "No! Hyaughhh..." He screamed and collapsed to the ground.
Me and the Shepherds continued to run towards where the exit was.
Me: "Almost there! The exit is just- Wait. Do you feel..." That's when Validar appeared and struck at me.
Me: "Hnrgh..." I screamed and fell to my knees.
(Y/N): "CHROM!" I heard my sister scream as she rushed to my side.
Validar: "Run all you like-you can't escape fate. Don't you know that?"
Lucina: "Father!" I heard my daughter yell.
Validar: "The Fire Emblem. Give it freely, or it will be taken."
Me & (Y/N): "Just try it!" Me and my sister said as I clutched my side.
Validar: "Heh heh... I won't need to do anything... Robin!" That's when Robin started covering his ears.
Robin: "Nngh! Ahh..."
(Y/N): "Robin?" My sister asked worry twisted in her words.
Validar: "Seize the Emblem and bring it to me." Validar commanded.
Robin: "Nngh, no, I... Aarrrgh!" Robin screamed as he made his way towards me.
Me: "Robin... What are you... doing?!" That's when he picked up the Fire Emblem and placed the final Gemstone inside, then he gave it to Validar
Validar: "Well done, my child. At last, the Fire Emblem belongs to me. And with my Gemstone, it is complete! Now, to set the Table and perform the rite..." Validar said as he took the Fire Emblem and disappeared.
Me: "D-damn you, Validar! Nngh..." I said as I took a sharp breath.
Robin: "Ah! Nngh...ahh... What have I... done?!"
Me: "Robin! We must go!"
Robin: "Chrom, I'm sorry! I don't... know what came over me... I'm so sorry!" Robin apologised.
Chrom: "I know you are, but right now we need to focus on getting out of here!"
Robin: "...Understood."
