Amara was born in the Sorra twenty years before the genocide of her people.
Along with her older sister Sarake, they watched the growing hatred between their kingdom and that of the Spri, a neighboring kingdom, as tensions grew over resources, people, and eventually the dragons that inhabit the mountains that surrounded them.
Forced to flee, Amara realizes the goal of the Spri is not to rule over the Sorra, but to eradicate its people. So she goes East, along with other refugees to escape the war, along with a secret that could change everything.
