Arman Steele.

His emotional eyes are full of desperation as he looks at me.

"Please." He says, sadness and misery lacing his voice. "Save my son."

The king of Silla is almost begging me to help him.

Though I cannot over look the paramount rie in slaves after his reign since the last few years, I cannot also ignore his thirst filled eyes.

Logan Steele is called the human butcher and the red eyed devil.

If he wants something, he gets it by all means possible.

He kills whatever and whoever he wants and he brings whatever or whoever he likes.

To others, he seems like the eye of death and someone to be feared.

The law.

But to me, he is nothing but a big headed bull with the brain of a toddler.

So I cannot help but see this as a chance to earn a big bag of gold taels.

My eyes are glued to the king's helpless, dramatic face.

"I-I've tried everything." He rambles.
"Not even the international psychiatrists I hired could cure him..."

I've heard this story about six times in a row by now and I have to say:

Old man, I swear you're so annoying.

First of all, he refers to his son like he has some disease or illness that has no cure.

And then he mentions having people from unknown origin counsel him who of course, would have fleed the moment they heard the tragedies caused by their regal patient.

This king has a cracked, easily manipulated mind.

I look at him, nodding my head as he continues on.

He is on the verge of tears.

I almost choke on my breath.

"Someone could over throw him...or assassinate him or worse like..."

"I understand, your majesty." I interrupt when I can no longer take this conversation.

"I'll..."

"I knew it." He almost sobs.

I almost gape at him.

"The last hope for my son is gone too. He'll rot in hell...."

"I'll help him." I blurt out, almost as fast as possible.

He snatches a glimpse at me.

"You'll...help him...?" He stutters, thinking he misheard me.

"I'll help your son." I repeat again.

Though he is a nutcase, nothing is impossible.

"But...."

The king holds my hands all of a sudden and I am too shocked to respond.

His excited eyes stare into mine.

"I understand." He mumbles.

"All that matters is that you agreed and therefore..." He licks his lips.

I retreat inward due to disgust at his crude behaviour.

Were this someone other than him, I'd have them in the boiler.

"I'll pay you for every second you counter him..." He elaborates, enthusiasm in his words. "100 Gold taels each hour  you spend on treating him."

WAIT...WHAT...!!!

100 GOLD TAELS AN HOUR.

THAT IS...HEVAEN ON EARTH...!!!

ITS IMPOSSIBLE....

I COULD BE...RICH.
NO, I COULD BE EVEN RICHER THAN RICH ITSELF.

"100..G-G-Gold taels an hour... "
I stutter, uncontrollably.

He nods his head, letting go of my hand and spreading out his hands.

"I swear on my life and If I see progress, I'm aiming for
500 taels per half hour."

I almost shriek in ecstasy.

My heart beats three times faster.

"I'm in." I usher, in the speed of light.
"I guarantee I can make your son the ingenious, courageous, honorable man he used to be."

My convincing demeanour convinces him to a big extent and he bursts into laughter.

He seems in apparent too trusting and I guess, that could be his downfall.

Shall I teach the king some manners?

No, the cash'n'coins is at stake.

Before him, I'll fix his son too.

Hahahahaha.

My life is gonna be the best one ever.
