Daisy and Luigi. A plumber and a princess, not an unlikely duo but an overlooked one. Mario and Peach always taking the spotlight, or Peach and Bowser depending on the gossip you hear. Daisy was cousins with Peach and Luigi was brothers with Mario. The pair were rather overlooked, being second to their relatives.
Feelings had been blossoming since the pair had met, a few months ago the couple had decided to start dating. Today wasn't any special occasion just it was kinda hot so they decided to go get icecream together.
Daisy would hum to herself as she walked to the icecream parlour, thinking about everything that she had done with Luigi up to this point. The memories all made her smile, even if some of them weren't happy memories, just thinking back on the time they spent together was nice.
Luigi would wave as he saw Daisy approaching, smiling happily at the Princess as she waved back. "Hey Luigi!" Daisy would beam as Luigi blushed. "H-Hiya, Daisy-" he'd stutter causing the Princess to laugh, hugging the Plumber.
The pair would order their icecream before sitting down. Chatting about everything that had been going on lately. Even discussing some of the Peach Bowser gossip. Neither of them believed the gossip but it was something to laugh over.
The pair would continue eating their icecream and happily chatting until it was time to leave.
Daisy would kiss Luigi on the lips before holding his hand, deciding to walk him home because she's a strong woman who takes care of her man.
