So basically the scene is
Karan is living in hostel and the timing of hostel and his shoot is not matching so he is searching for a rented apartment
Now u guys are thinking ki room ka kya hai 2 ya 3 hzar me mil jayega student ko but the main problem is use shoot ke liye bhi place chahiye to kb tk vo rent pr ghr leke shoot krega isse acha vo ek flat le rent pr aur shoot bhi kre aur rahe bhi to teju is living alone so he have him idea to live with her in her flat because she knows how costly flats are their in Delhi
