(Billy's pov)

Stu was cheating. It was the only explanation why he didn't want to hang out with me anymore, and he's been spending more time with that stupid geek, Randy.

I was fucking pissed about it. So I decided to confront him about it.

I walked into stu's house without knocking and saw him coming down the stairs, freezing when he saw me, "Oh, hi Billy. I didn't know you were coming over," he said

"Are you cheating on me?"I blurted out ,"What? I'm not cheating on you, Billy," stu said, shaking his head and walking down the rest of the way, walking over to me reaching for my hand, but I pulled away,

A hurt expression came across stu's face, and he dropped his hands to his side, "I don't believe you," I told him

"Billy, I'm not cheating on you! I swear," stu said, "then explain to me why you never want to hang out with me anymore? And why you're always hanging out with that stupid geek, Randy," I said,

"He was helping me with something," stu said, and I slightly scoffed. "Yeah? With what? Are you spreading your legs for him like a whore?" I spat out

Stu slightly flinched back, before his expression turned angry ,"you know what Billy? Fuck you! You're such an asshole!"

"Me? I'm not the one cheating!" I yelled, "I'm not cheating!" Stu shouted before he turned around and rushed up the stairs,

I expected to hear a door slam, but it never came. Instead, stu came back down, throwing something at me, hitting me in the chest.

Tears were sliding down his face, and I instantly felt guilty, "Happy anniversary...jerk!" Stu rushed back upstairs, and this time, the door slam shut

I looked down and picked up the small black box. It wasn't our anniversary yet, I walked into the kitchen to look at the calendar.

Well, shit, today is our anniversary, and I forgot all about it. I looked down at the black box in hand and opened it. It was a watch, a beautiful watch, but what caught my attention was mine and stu's initials

"Fuck!"

(Stu's pov)

I can't believe Billy actually accused me of cheating. Like I would ever cheat on Billy. I love him so much, and he doesn't even trust me.

"Stu? Darling, I'm so sorry. Can you please open the door so we can talk?" I heard Billy say from behind the door

I didn't say anything, only hugging my knees tighter against my chest

"Please? I'm so sorry for accusing you of cheating. I should've trusted you more, and I'm so sorry that I forgot today was our anniversary," Billy said, "Please, open the door," he pleaded

"Okay, I get it. I'm so sorry, stu, and I love you so much," Billy said before I heard him walk away before the front door was opened and closed

A small whimper left me before a sob escaped me.

(3rd pov)
Stu must've fallen asleep because he was startled by a knock on his bedroom door. "Stu?" It was Billy

Stu rubbed his eyes, wincing a bit ,"stu, baby, can you please open the door? I have a surprise for you," Billy pleaded, desperation in his voice

Stu bit his lip before unlocking the door, and crawling over by the end of bed, and sitting on the floor with his back pressed against the bed, he hugged his knees,

Billy walked into the room, and he sat next to stu, who didn't even look at him ," I've got you a gift. I know it's not going to make up for anything, I said, but happy anniversary darling,"

Stu felt something furry rub against his leg, and he looked down, his eyes slightly widening. It was a small black kitten ,

He carefully picked the kitten up, hugging it close ,"Does that mean you forgive me?" Billy questioned and stu turned to look at him,

"I hate you, I hate that I can just forgive you so easily," stu told him, "I know. I'm sorry," stu leaned his head on Billy's shoulder

"You're wearing the watch," stu mumbled, and Billy nodded, "Yeah, never taking it off,"

The two of them sat in silence, enjoying each other presences. Billy hoped that he could fix his relationship with stu before it's too late.
