A/n: Season 1 Amity

You had recently transferred to Hexside. And it was pretty clear that Amity was popular, despite overall feelings of her being mixed. Which wasn't a surprise, she was Blight, and her parents literally worked with the Emperor. But she wasn't the nicest person. Or nice, at all. Her friends weren't nice either. But alas you had to believe in the power of friendship, or whatever.

So after around a week of going to Hexside you tried to talk to her. Which just resulted in her ignoring you and throwing out a half-hearted insult. You've watched too many kids to let that deter you. You kept that routine up for a few more days. Until she looked at you and simply said "Go away." Which you respected, and hey you were getting some were. It was more than an insult, which for Amity is kinda big.

Though now that you think of it you weren't sure why you were so happy. You didn't know her. Even further you don't know why you were so determined to be her friend. Who knows, you had a very weird relationship. Because, you saying hey, and her not looking at you and saying some stereotypical insult, didn't exactly scream hate. But it didn't scream friendship either.

It was break time and you had no idea what to do. You thought about talking to Boscha, she seemed pretty friendly with Amity. After walking for a bit you saw the three-eyed girl. "Hey." You said. "Oh hey, you're the person that talks to Amity every day, right?  Or make a pathic attempt at talking to her." "Thanks." You said disregarding what she said, "So how did you become friends with Amity." "We've been friends since kids. Guess you just have to be a cool person, so you're all out of luck."

Yeah, this wasn't going anywhere. But if you have to stick to your friendship morality! So that involves people who were more explicitly mean to you- "Anyway if you want to embarrass yourself she's practicing in the abomination room." Oh, thank God. Well, that gives you an excuse. "Thank you! Okay, bye!" You said as you started walking away.

Sure enough, Amity was in the abomination room. Yet she seemed a lot more stressed than you expected. "Hey, are you okay?" You asked in a semi-hushed whisper. She snapped her head towards you. "Of course, you're here. I'm fine." "You're clearly not, I know we don't have the best relationship... But just for now let me help, please." Amity rolled her eyes.

"If you must know, I'm just having trouble with abominations. But I need to get my place as top student back!" "How did you lose it?" "Willow stole it by pretending a human, Luz, was an abomination! She changed tracks but my behavior was seen as inappropriate." "Why is being the top student so important to you?" Amity mumbled something and all you could make out was, "Parents." Ah. You didn't know what to say. "Um- I'm sorry... That you have to deal with that. I'm not sure what to say but-" "Stop you're embarrassing yourself." "Yeah, I know. If you ever want to talk you know where to find me." You said as you left.

After school, Amity quickly went to her siblings. "Why do you look so angry mittens?" Emira asked. "It's y/n." "What did they do today? Say hey again." Edric asked half genuinely half mockingly. "I was practicing abominations. I started to get stressed. When they randomly came in all concerned, they asked how I was doing. And they were being nice for no reason, they tried to comfort me despite not knowing me well." Emira and Edric looked confused. "Wait I'm lost, do you like Y/n?" Emira asked. Amity made a slightly offended face, "Me liking Y/n?" She scoffed then paused, "Wait... Oh, oh no."
