i thank ben as i get out of the car

prancing to my room, my parents already asleep.

ik ben definitely just made it in time to his place.

i layed down on my bed, turning something i've seen probably a million times in my tv just for some background noise as i scrolled on tiktok.

my phone chirps,

BEN💙🫶🏼 : hey y/n uhm ik this is random but wanna ft? ik we just hung out but i mean you know how it is

i smiled at this text, obviously im all he can think about.

me : of course man here i'll call

i facetimed him and he picked up right away

"normally you pass out right when you get home from our friday nights" i said.

he chucked softly "yeah uh idk i'm just not uhm as tired tonight" he says

the way he has his phone angled drives me nuts.

he is laying down holding the phone up i could see his bare shoulders.

his messy bed head drove me wild.

"so what did your mom say? did you get home late?" i asked

"just a couple minutes, but she didn't really mind when i told her that our movie ran a little later" he said

"ohh good excuse" i said smiling.

it was easier for me to ignore what we did rather then him, i know me being so passive is driving him absolutely nuts.

"ughh i need to get ready for bed" i said gettung off my bed to take off my makeup.

"one sec i needa wash my face" i said i wiped off my makeup then washed it with some cleanser.

"alright" i said grabbing my phone again and propping him up on my vanity in my room.

"you look just as pretty without your makeup" he says out of the blue.

"awh thanks ben"  i smiled.

i walked away from my phone deciding on what pajamas i wanna throw on.

i place my self out of frame and change into a comfy oversized tee and some nike pros.

i walked back into frame to sit down on my desk chair.

"alright i'm back" i said

he smiles

i rub moisturizer on my face gently.

then i do my eye cream.

"i love doing my skin care it's so fun" i smiled.

"you look like you have fun" he smiles.

"i need to buy some more moisturizer im almost out.. hey you think the sometime you can drive me to sephora? maybe after we can grab a bite" i said.

"of course i could do that." he says.

"thank you so much your honestly the best"

"anytime"

ben stayed quite but i kept on talking.

he was so the listener to my talker.

"oh my god did you hear that owen is trying to ask out jazzy?" i said.

"like to the p-prom?" he stutters.

"yeah, he has some big promposal planned"

i went silent as i finished up rubbing in the eye cream under my eyes completely.
