20 minutes. I left the flat 20 minutes early to get to school just to avoid he who shall not be named. We headed home last night, Tony dropped us off and the car was deadly silent. You could hear a pin drop. Tony was trying to lighten up the mood but gave up in the end. Every time Dad tried talk to me, I spoke to someone else or ignored him. As soon as I stepped foot in the flat, I went straight to my room. Vanessa came in to see me and told me to give him a chance. I only said that I would think about it.

I head to the park where I always meet Peter sitting then I realised that I was early and hadn't told him. I sit on the bench and text my new boyfriend.

Me: Hey, I am at our park bench. I know I am early but I just want to get to school early x

Peter: More like you are trying to avoid your Dad x

Me: Pretty much lol x

Peter: You can't keep avoiding him forever. I will be there in about 10 mins. I am just leaving. x

Me: I can and I will, don't take too long x

Peter: I won't if it means seeing you x

Me: God since when did you go all soppy x

Peter: Since I met you lol x

Me: I really is a good job I like you. See you soon x

Peter: I like you too, see you soon x

I just laugh and put my phone away. I am sitting in my own world trying to take in what has happened the last couple of days, then this guy sits next to me on the bench smiling at me. He looks so familiar

'Is this seat free?'

'Yes of course' I smile and move over a little bit. I suddenly feel a bit uneasy

'I thought Peter would be here' I look at the guy confused trying to act like I don't know what he is on about but deep down I know I need to leave as soon as humanly possible.

'Well I don't know anyone called Peter, you must have got the wrong person'

'I don't think I do sweetheart, but you know who I am' What an arrogant shit? I have no clue who he is.

'I don't think I do sorry'

'What? Don't you recognize me, Hayley?' I feel so sick.

'How do you know my name?' I ask moving further and further away but he is moving closer and closer. For some reason I know that I am not going to school today.

'Don't back away from me now, Hayley. If you don't know who I am, your dad will' Oh my God. It's him.

'Oh my God' Then I realise how he is... The man who broke my Dad. I back away until I am on the edge of the bench about to fall off.

He smirks, 'Oh Hayley, God isn't going to help you now'. I try to leave but I fell off the bench and next thing I know he puts a cloth over my mouth. Everything goes black.
