The lost ones

Preparing

The kids had been staying with puppet and Goldie for a about 6 days now and we're somewhat getting used to them
Puppet was mainly in charge of working during the day,providing food (especially pizza for Susie) and teaching them manners
Goldie was in charge of the other things babysitting,cleaning,teaching about powers and discipline (not that he was any good at half that stuff)
However puppet begun to worry
Goldie:is something wrong
Puppet:the others are coming back tomorrow we have to be prepared we need to make a schedule for these kids so their not seen
Goldie:well what about the attic basement and back area?
Puppet:good idea I can use my powers to connected the vents to those places and make a cabinet that can go up and down between the places the attic has a back area behind boxes only we know about so far so we can make that where they stay over night and the basement is sound proof so during things like their birthdays,Christmas,halloween we can celebrate down there and during they day they can sleep or stay in the back room and every now and then I'll let the kids hang out in my box
Goldie blinks a few time's confused and then awkwardly smiles
Goldie:okay? How do we do this in a day?
Puppet looks at him
Puppet:I have my ways

A few hours later
Gabriel:so why can't we roam freely?
Susie:yeah? Is Henry
She looks back and forth
Susie:evil?
Goldie:no,just Henry may not be okay with this arrangement and there's certain things between me and puppet-
Susie:you mean mom?
Goldie:yes..your mom and me and the others don't exactly have the best record in certain aspects? 💭was that the right word? Yeah pretty sure it was💭
Puppet:it's done!
Goldie and the kids go to the backroom
Goldie:huh you built an elevator system in a day....I underestimated you
