[Y/n pov]

It took me a bit to get back to the house since I had to hide the sword before I ended up getting a million questions from Camila. I hid it under the porch of the old house in the woods, that way when I return to the isles I'll be able to grab it. Yet as I got back I still got questioned by Camila over where it was I disappeared to today. I simply told her I accidentally left my phone in the house and went to the woods for the day. She seemed to buy it although I think it's because 1. she was tired, 2. I wasn't entirely lying ... I actually left my phone here, and 3. It was late. So here I am laying on my bed in the upstairs spare bedroom, though I guess you could call it my room.

Y/n: Phew what a day ... I still can't believe that all actually happened. Yet it felt so real that it couldn't have been fake let alone a nightmare.

I said aloud to myself in a quiet tone, opening and closing my hand and rubbing the slight bruising on my knuckles, as to not awaken Camila again. To be honest, that woman can be a scary force of nature, especially when she pulls out the Hispanic mom's weapon of choice La chancla (the flip-flop). I got dressed in my pj's before getting under the covers and trying to get some sleep, which was a tad harder than I expected. After about an hour or so I was finally in R.E.M. sleep, as scientists call it, or the point one starts to have dreams.

I awoke in the world of dreams, a world that normally replays a single nightmare I've been having for 5 years. I did occasionally have a different dream, one of a area filled with a heavy fog. There were voices always talking, but I couldn't ever understand what was being said. It's like they were speaking in a language that wasn't from earth.

Y/n: Okay, what is it tonight? The same nightmare or the weird fog world with mumbling voices? ... wait this isn't my home or the foggy place.

I was currently standing in the ruins of a castle throne room of sorts. The throne was broken, the walls had vines and there were grass and roots in the floor. Nature has taken over the entire room, possibly the entire castle. The strangest part was through a hole behind the throne that showed a giant skeleton impaled into a mountainside. I started to walk around the castle grounds, before noticing something that looked familiar. A table that had 5 chairs, well 5 that weren't broken anyway. As well as 5 statues, each one of different armor. The others were completely demolished, probably from the wear and tear of time.

One had a circular shield on its right arm, with what looked like a sun. It's armor had an owl like design on its chest plate or was it some sort of wolf? A helmet with 3 horns on it 1 sticking up, and 1 on each side. It's boots weren't that big, only up to the mid of the calves. This warrior didn't seem to be wearing much armor. The only thing missing was it's blade.

The second wore more armor but the difference on this one was the statue didn't have a helmet, but a mask. It's hair was obviously visible, meaning whoever this was was a warrior who took risks, probably an arrow to the skull. Yet also there were wings on this statue. It had no shield but it was also missing it's sword.

Third statue...

Y/n: Woah what happened to you?

The third statue had plenty of armor but cracks in it, dents in the armor. It was covered from head to toe in ash. I tried to wipe some of it off only to get burnt by it. The stone fabric looked like they made it as if the warrior was constantly on fire. Once more no sword.

Fourth one was what looked the most intimidating. The helmet had no face guard like the last helmet, this one looked like a motorcycle helmet but it was completely solid, with two V shaped lines on it. The armor was clean and looked sturdy. Yet for some reason, this one has a sword.

Y/n: Why do I feel like that's not the only blade this one had in its armory?

Something about these first four seemed inhuman, as if they weren't from the human world. Although the giant skeleton earlier was an almost dead giveaway that I'm not in the human world.

Y/n: Right then, onto the last statue.

Finally I walk in front of the last statue, this one's armor and stance seemed to scream regal power. There was no shield, no helmet, and no blade. Yet something told me this person didn't need a shield to fight. What could've happened to all the blades? Who were these warriors?

???: These we're once great knights who fought against all odds to protect their people.

Y/n: Who's!?

I looked around only to find nothing. I thought I was going crazy, a random female voice speaking to me without a single person around.

???: I shall await your return to this place young knight, before you wake I must tell you this. The blade doesn't forget ones word, nor does it forget ones crimes. Fight with all that you are, and never forget ...

She didn't finish as skeletal monsters started to rise up and pulling out weapons, I reached for my blade only to feel nothing. The skeletal monsters rushed at me with unimaginable speed, causing me to have to dodge or I would be impaled.

Y/n: That was too close!

I should have paid attention as one with six arms and 3 war hammers jumped at me, slamming me into the wall. Weirdly It hurt, not in the terms of "Oh that tingles" no I mean I think a rib or two broke. A bunch of ones with blades run at me while I'm down, I rolled to avoid them, ignoring the pain as I disarmed one and used it's blade to try and fight back. I manage to slice down three blade users, four spear users, and decapitate the war hammer user. I didn't get far before I was getting overwhelmed, being held down almost execution style, while the ones I took down got back up. A warden of sorts walked over and let out a growl as it raised a giant war mace.

Skeletal warden: Give them back, GIVE THEM BACK!

It screamed as It brought the mace down towards my skull. I suddenly was awoken by my alarm as I fell out of my bed, I turn off the alarm and head for the bathroom to wash up.

Y/n: "What was that place? Why were there those statues? Where were their blades? Who was that voice? And what did that warden mean by give them back? Ugh forget about it for now, I need to get back to the isles"

After showering I quickly grabbed the plane ticket, and the bag of clothes, shampoo, body wash and other stuff I would need for hygiene. Then I grabbed my phone and leave a note on the counter for Camila to know I left.

Y/n: See you around Camila, I'll keep Luz safe I promise. We'll return eventually, who knows she might just come back with a more mature attitude. Hehe ... goodbye.

With that I left the house, headed back into the woods and grabbed the blade. Once I cleaned the dirt off it, I strapped it to my back then finally I opened the door to the isles. This is the last I'll see if this world for a while, here's to hoping this doesn't get too crazy. However I hesitated for a moment before I walked through.

Y/n: ... Adiós, mamá, papá, a dónde voy, no puedes seguirme. Iré a verte cuando vuelva. (Goodbye, mom, dad, where I'm going, you can't follow me. I'll come to see you when I get back.)

With that being said I walked through the door into the isles, not even looking back two figures fading away as the door closed itself behind me.
