We're going to start this off simply with a timeline of the lore so you can get the idea of what this is about.
1971 - 1980 The first martian's restaurant is built, no one is sure what it was originally called, but it is presumed that the two original animatronics, humbert and axeltar, were there.

(Original Design made by a friend) The restaurant remained open for two years, it had to shut down in 1973 after an incident with a child and humbert, it is said from one of the previous nightguards that during repairs, they could see the blood in his mouth as well as the eye of the child. Ray has confirmed how that has unfortunately happened. "You see, the suits have springlocks inside of them, when water touches them, it causes the springlocks to fail, i think that because the child was crying as it happened, it made the springlocks crush his head entirely, which killed him almost instantaneously."
In 1973 the restaurant shut down for refurbishment, leading to the debut of four new animatronics, Puff, Deejay, Benatar and Axel. (Puff, 1974-1987 animatronic)
