Gaon said pouting while looking at me, I could only stare at the door frame with high hopes that the two I tried to recruit would show up. Gaon sighed and started packing up. I did the same,

WE AREN'T TOO LATE RIGHT?

We were interrupted by the loud Lee Jooyeon, I turned to look at them, a subtle smile forming on my lips. They made it!

❛ Not at all ! ❜ I responded, watching Jooyeon drag in Seungmin who was panting for probably running all the way here. Jooyeon left Seungmin alone by the door frame to chit-chat with the rest of the band, I let out a sigh of relief and made my way to Seungmin's side-

❛ Thank you for considering ! ❜  I said beaming at the boy beside me who was probably busy fixing his shirt to notice my smile, 

You should really be thanking Joo, not me- he was the one who "convinced" me anyway

❛ tsk, you're still here aren't you? ❜ I said as I grabbed his wrist and dragged him along to where the rest of the band were huddled up.

❛ Sooo, uhmm, what instrument do you play? ❜

I asked Seungmin who looked blankly at the ground, seated away from the group, just right by the door. He turned over to take a look at me, his facial language, unsure. 

❛ Ehm- did I bother you?- I 'm sorry- ❜

I laughed awkwardly, turning around to take my leave till he responded : keyboard
I halted my steps and made the bold decision to sit by his side.

❛ For how long have you been playing? The keyboard I mean- ❜ 

His body was now turned to face me, I suppose we are making progress, actually trying to connect with each other.  It's just a hobby, I started last year

 ❛ Ohh, I've been joining bands since I was in highschool! ❜

He went silent for a moment, I had thought I did something wrong, I started to panic, stood up and looking around, jittering, looking for something to start a topic on, then : you know, being in the band isn't my priority right?

I stopped jittering, my head hung low. For some reason, the phrase made me feel.. off. I attempted to wear a smile on my face as I told him ;

❛ Oh! No! Don't worry, We all have our own priorities, right? ❜

That managed to make him smile at me as he said : thank you for understanding

I have failed you guys ToT so sorry it took me so long-
I have just gone through 2 exam weeks and it sure drained me a lot-
I will just update sporadically cuz I can't keep promises anymore :')
