Jake's POV

No. This couldn't have happened..
I couldn't have actually been kicked out of the club.

I was in disbelief as I sat on my knees. It wasn't my fault and I knew it.

The competition was a few days away and I was stuck here. In my thoughts. In my brain.

I decided to skip the rest of my classes because I can't let people see me like this. Tear stained and red.

Hailey's POV

I was running, running as fast as I could. I didn't even care if people saw me and laughed.

"Hailey, wait!" I heard Zander call. I stopped running. "What?" I asked, croaky voiced, teary eyed. "Do you want me to call mum to pick you up?" He asked. I looked at him with a slight smile. "No, it's alright," I was happy that my brother cared about my feelings. "Then what do you want to do?" He asked me. "I'll figure that out," I say and walk away.

Jake's POV

I was still there. Still sitting. Until I heard running coming towards the door. I instantly hid so that nobody saw me. But then, she opened the door.

Oh sh!t, she can't see me here.

"Jake? Are you here?" She called my name. I stayed silent until she finally saw me. "Oh there you are!" She exclaimed. "Are you okay?" She asked me. I just looked down. "Hey, I'm sorry, I should not have ran away like that, and I didn't even ask why," she apologised. "I-I" I stuttered as I couldn't get anything out of my mouth. I was confused, I thought she hated me.

"I'm sorry," I finally let out. "Can I explain?" I asked. "Sure," she smiled at me.

"Well, uhm," I started. "You don't have to tell me if you don't feel comfortable," Hailey assured me. "I'll tell you later," I say. "Do you forgive me?" I asked. She said nothing, instead she pulled me in for a hug. I accepted and hugged her back.

"Yes I do, silly," she said said as we pulled away. "But, I can't let you join again,"

"What, why?" I ask.

"The club probably doesn't forgive you yet, they need time, especially Zander," she replied. "Oh yeah, sorry about that," I say.

"Hey it's alright, we can secretly be friends," she suggested...
