Mathéo was walking through the halls of Hogwarts, trying to find the Great Hall for breakfast, when suddenly he was pinned to the wall with a wand pointed at his neck.

"Woah, who are you?! What are you doin-" he was cut off as the tall, platinum blonde boy scowled at him.

"Who are you? Why were touching Aurora like that last night, huh?! I'll have you know that I come from an extremely powerful family, and can get you-"

Mathéo suddenly pushed him off and adjusted his blue robes before turning back to the boy, who was glaring at him while brushing himself off.

"First of all, who are you?"

"I asked first."

He chuckled at the tall boy's childishness. "Fine, Mathéo Julian Beaumont. Pleasure to meet you." He smirked when the boy's eyes slightly grew when he mentioned his last name, but the blonde was quick to settle his face back into a scowl.

"Draco Lucius Malfoy. Malfoy to you, Beaumont." Mathéo heard a slight mocking tone in his voice and chuckled.

"You can calm down, Aurora is like a sister to me. I've known her for a long time, our families are really close."

"She's never mentioned you, Frenchie." said Draco suspiciously.

"Likewise, but I'm sure it was never important. You seem to be close with her."

"I'm her cousin." He gritted through his teeth.

"Ah, then you must know that she visits France with her family every summer, well, except for this one."

"So?

"So, has she ever mentioned visiting certain people, the Delacour's? "

"Yeah, but you aren't a Delacour."

"No, but I am their cousin. My mother's sister is her mother, and we all live together."

Draco squinted his eyes at Mathéo to see if he was lying, but his face dropped in irritancy when he found he wasn't.

"Watch your back, Frenchie. If I hear you've laid one finger on her, I will not hesitate to curse your arse into oblivion." He snarked.

"I wouldn't worry too much, bouteille blonde." Mathéo leaned in closer and smirked.

Draco scowled and started walking towards him. He stopped and leaned down right next to Mathéo's ear. "Fais attention à ce que tu dis, Frenchie." he paused. "Oh, et au fait, c'est entièrement naturel. " he smirked as Mathéo's expression turned to one of mild surprise.

He strutted away, feeling Mathéo's eyes on the back of his head, and smirked even harder.

"Honestly, Harry can you just be quiet!?"

"No!  You should've seen them yesterday! That little git-"

"Calm down, Potter." Draco sat himself down next to Harry. "I've just talked to Frenchie, if you know what I mean. He's fine, for now. As long as he doesn't pull anything, of course." He grabbed an apple from the basket on the table and took a bite, swiftly standing up and sending a quick salute before departing to the Slytherin table.

Despite his somewhat reassuring words, Harry was still pissed, though not as much as before.

Aurora sat down next to him and reached for a plate, scooping some scrambled eggs and French toast onto her plate. She poured herself some orange juice before realizing that they were all staring at her, Hermione with a begging expression, Ron with an annoyed one, and Harry with an angry one along with something else she couldn't recognize.

"What?"

Silence.

"What?"

Another moment of silence passed before they all burst out.

"Please get Harry to be quiet, I'm trying to read-"

"He's been going off about that French git all morning, shut him up, will yo-"

"Who is that stupid prick you were talking to yesterday? That git-"

Her eyes widened in surprise before turning to Ron. "What French git?" she said blankly.

Harry rolled his eyes. "The one you were hugging and kissing all of dinner yesterd-"

"Oh! That's just Mathéo, I visit him every summer, you know that." she continued eating her eggs.

"No, I don't know that. You said you visit the Delacour's, not that git." she shot him a small glare and he responded with an annoyed look.

"Stop calling him that. And they live together, they're cousins."

"Why was he all over you yesterday, then?" He said angrily.

She sighed. His overprotective side was something she observed to be extremely annoying, he had been like that all throughout their childhood. Anytime a boy with nothing but innocent intentions came up to her, he would scare the poor child away, causing great annoyance in Aurora. "Harry, calm down. It's how we greet each other. I do the same with Aru, Luna, Hyun- Hyun! Why don't you say anything about him!?"

"W-well, I mean-"

"Exactly."

"Well, I know he doesn't think of you like that!" he argued back.

Hermione and Ron looked back and forth between them with weary look, breakfast long forgotten. Well, for Hermione at least.

Aurora groaned in frustration.  Completely ignoring her breakfast, she glared at him before saying calmly, "Harry, you don't have to worry about him, alright? He's not like that, trust me."

Hesitating, Harry said, "Fine, but if tries one thing-"

"You'll be the first to know, along with Draco. Besides, I would've done something about it if he tried something either way." She reassured.

"Fine."

Suddenly, someone sat themself down next to Aurora and grabbed a plate. He turned to say good morning before the glares directed towards him, most of them apologetic, one of them apprehensive and annoyed.

"Good morning?" Mathéo said.
