It was currently 11am as it was recess time, Students were in the lunch hall eating and grabbing their food.

I sat at my daily table with Daisy, Stacy and Sadie. People were chatting, people were eating. It was All perfectly peacefully until.

"You did WHAT!?"

Drew, Henry and Liam shouted and stood up in sync. I heard since they were so goddamn loud and because their table is right next to ours.

𝚃𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚜 𝚗𝚘 𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚢𝚎𝚕𝚕, 𝚓𝚎𝚜𝚞𝚜.

"Wait, hear me out! I know what you're thinking but there's a reasonable explanation!" Jake exclaimed, making them all sit down. We make eye contact as he mouthed "sorry" to me.

I chuckled slightly as I ate my noodles, watching him try to explain his reasoning for joining the club.

"Look it's... [Name]-"

My head snapped to Jake, Once I heard my name.

"They told me that they loved singers and that I should try out for the competition and ehem, I agreed..."

It was all silence for a bit until Henry's laughter broke it.

"You joined the music club for [Name], you're so whipped!"

"[Name], get a load of this-" Liam yelled as I laid back in my chair with an annoyed look.

"Yeah I heard it from across it here and for the record, Jake." I looked towards him with the same annoyed look. He looked nervous.

"I didn't say shit about loving singers, you damn well know that." I said grabbing my empty plate, returning it then leaving the lunch hall.

I heard Liam and Henry laughed from behind me when I walked passed their table.

"[Name], wait!" I heard Jake but I left as fast as I could.

I stomped my feet all the way up to the stairs up to the rooftop, where I had my alone time. I sat down on the floor, looking down at the school.
