What do you see when you look at her?
Do you see just beauty? Or something deeper?
Do you look into her eyes and see its glistering hue?
Piercing through your soul?
Or do you dig..deeper trying to uncover the unknown?
Do you ever wonder why she smiles alot?
Or why she gives her loved ones all she got?
Why she exhausts herself making things right?
Or how she shine the brightest amongst the night?
Why she gets quiet, and let her eyes wander for a split second,
Can't you feel the pain within her voice when ever she sings?
No? Just...listen...
It's her heart constantly pleading.
"Please see me, be gentle and attentive.
Don't ignore me, instead caress me, giving me a reason to live.
Look past my exterior and open your eyes,
Afterall, its the window to your soul,
so see mine.
Let me....feel something,
Instead of having the option of feeling nothing!"
At that very moment, my eyes became less blurry,
and I saw her clearly.
I take a step forward keeping my sight on her,
Slowing itching my fingers to her cheek,
slience feels the air as our energies speak.
With a sigh, I lean forward and carefully whispered,
"I see you."
She melts into my touch and whimpers.
That's the beginning of something anew,
The moment when the earth stood still,
and there was only me and you.
