Tenjin Matsuri is counted as one of Japan's three greatest festival and it is the collective name for various festivals held on 7th July every year and this festival celebrates the anniversary of Michizane's death...Michizane Sugawara was an daring samurai who was killed by his enemies and in his memory we celebrate this festival.
