Jack woke up on the floor their outfit from the day prior stained in tears, they sat up, their chest aching, they groaned and remembered their binder was left on, they quickly took it off and put it in their top drawer in their drawers. Jack changed outfits putting on shorts, and a oversized jumper as they had relapsed the night before, they grabbed bandages and wrapped their wrists and upper arms, Jack eventually walked out of their room to see Niki standing in the kitchen, "morning Jack did you sleep okay?" Niki asks concerned, "Niki. I woke up on the ground covered in tears." Jack said telling a half-truth, Niki looked at their body language rubbing their wrists every now and then, "You miss him don't you?" Niki asks Jack making them look up, "Yeah.. uh also maybe just a little bit I might..." Jack mumbled the rest of the sentence barely audible, "pardon?" Niki said walking up to Jack, "Don't come closer please, I said I might like him.." Jack said whispering the rest of the sentence in a quiet tone, Tom walked out of the guest room, and looked at Jack a little worried, Niki notices Tom and motioned him to go away, "Do you want to go talk in your room?" Niki asks Jack getting a nod, Niki brought Jack to their room closing their door gently, "Jack your acting weird, your rubbing your wrists and upper arms, can I see them please" Niki said in a soft comforting voice, Jack handed her their arms, "Can I roll up your sleeves?" Niki asks getting a nod from Jack, Niki rolls up Jacks sleeves as they look away, "Jack.. oh my god-" Niki said her jaw dropping, "How long did you go?" Niki asked, "3 years.." Jack said tears forming in their eyes, Niki pulled their sleeves down pulling them into a hug "Niki you remind me of someone.." Jack said their eyes red from crying, "And who might that be?" Niki said rubbing circles on their back, "My younger sister Nikita.." Jack said rubbing their eyes, Niki looked a little shocked "That's my full first name" Niki said, "you actually remind me of my older sister, or whatever their pronouns are now," Niki said looking at Jack, "Her name was Jackie.." Niki said seeing Jacks face light up, "that's my deadname" Jack said smiling, "so we're reunited with each other after 17 years? Oh god how much I missed you Jack" Niki said with a smile hugging Jack close, when a knock came through the door, Niki assume Tom answered it, because they heard, "Is there an adult here kid? I need to talk to one." A male voice said, Jack stood up and opened their door and walked to the front door, "Can I help you officer?" Jack said confused, "Missing person, William Gold, has been found, Ashton gages, as been arrested, but William was severely injured, and wounded, we would like you and the rest of your family to come to the hospital, are you related to this patient in any way possible?" The office said, "I'm Williams fiancé, I can get my sister and the rest of everyone else wrapped together sir," Jack said cooperating with the officer, "He's at the hospital down the street." The officer said walking away from the door, Jack closed the door and turned around to see everyone there, "Okay, so we're going to the hospital, Wilbur was found but he's injured and wounded, so don't ask a million questions, and I've got a chance to stay with him in the hospital," Jack said looking at Niki, "how did you do that?" Niki asked, "I might've lied about being his fiancé" Jack said tucking a strand of hair behind their ear, "but get some stuff they'll call us back, and that waits going to be long," Jack said running to their room, changing into sweatpants, and grabbing a portable sketchbook, portable charger and their phone cord, noise canceling headphones to muffle the noise, they ran out grabbing their keys and everyone stood with Jack whilst they locked the door.

After they arrived to the hospital they checked in for a visit and sat down in the waiting room when a woman walked in with a bob hair cut, checking in to be seen about her wrist, "People visiting Mr.Gold?" A doctor announced as everyone stood up and Jack let everyone go before them, "Excuse me sir!" The woman who just checked in, "I think I should go with them not you," the woman said shoving Jack out of the way, Jack pushed her out of the way and jogged to catch up with everyone else, they walked into the room Wilbur was everyone crowded around his bed, "It's sweet to see you all here, but where's Jack?" He asked his voice weak, Jack walked up to the side of the bed, "thank god your okay Wil.." Jack said smiling sweetly, "Which one of you is Mrs.Gold?" The nurse asked, Jack stood up and walked over to the nurse as he walked out the door, with Jack, "Could you fill this out please it's emergency contact information?" The nurse asked softly, Jack nodded then proceeded to fill out the emergency contact paperwork, the nurse took the clipboard back and left leaving Jack to go back to the room, "Mrs.Gold?" Wilbur asks sitting up, "it's a one time thing! Don't get used to it." Jack said crossing their arms they walked over to the bed and gently took Wilbur's hand, "I'm just glad your safe.." Jack said making Wilbur smile, "I mean, Christmas Eve was pretty heated" Niki said nudging Jack a bit making Jack recall it and become flustered, "Nikita! Don't bring that up!" Jack said using Nikis full name, "Oooooooooo they used your full first nameeeeee" Wilbur said sounding like a child. "Wilbur." Jack and Niki said at the same time with a glare on their face looking at Wilbur, everyone else in the room burst out laughing, "Oooohhhhh Jack remember that thing you told me about Wil?" Niki said in German with a smug smirk on her face, "Niki we don't need to bring that up hahaha—" Jack replied in English everyone confused but only understood the word 'Wil' "Please for meeeeeee?" Niki asked giving Jack puppy eyes, they sighed pinching their nose bridge, "Fine but you all have to leave," Jack said in defeat, "Alright, have fun you two," Niki said with a smile, leaving the room with the kids leaving Jack and Wilbur alone, Jack sat next to Wilbur, "I have no idea what their talking about," Jack lied tucking a piece of hair behind their ear, their body language screaming that they were lying, "Don't lie to me Jack, take your time," Wilbur said with a soft smile, Jack sighed, and decided to let it spill, "Fine. I caught feelings for you.." Jack confessed looking down at their hands, for fear of being rejected, "Why didn't you just say so? Those pet names weren't playful flirting," Wilbur replied, they looked up at with, their eyes full of hope, "I thought you were straight.." Jack said looking a little confused, "I'm pan Jack, I'm all for personality," Wilbur replied sticking his hand out to Jack, their face lit up with a bright smile, Wilbur then pulled them close to him, their faces inches apart, Jacks eyes looking in Wilbur's eyes then to his lips. "May I?" Wilbur asks, they nod, and get pulled down their lips pressing softly together, Jacks face bright red, they separate form each other, "Jack will you be my partner,?" Wilbur asks hesitantly, "Of course I will Wilbur," Jack said their hand resting on his face, both of them smiling, Jack rests their forehead on Wilbur's forehead their faces still close. They head footsteps behind them and separate from each other immediately, Jack turns around to see Niki their with a huge grin on her face, "Jesus Niki," Jack said putting their hand on their chest, "Toby's dad came by and took the kiddos home," Niki said sitting down next to Jack, Jack still a little flustered, "Ooooooo, what happened??" Niki asks raising her eyebrows up and down, "Nothing!!" Wilbur said before Jack could say anything, Jack looked at him and smiled softly.
