Silence

I love the silence, it gives a form of comfort
But when you use it somehow it feels wrong
It's like a thousand knives scratching at my skin
When you use it, it feels like I did something wrong.

You silence out my words like they mean nothing to you
Like they're just another burden for you to bear,
Another weight added to your back.
I wish you loved me the way I love you.

I don't like telling you my problems anymore.
They're only met with your hard gaze, staring at me,
Looking at me like I'm lying and then you look away.
Silenced once again.

Oh, how I hate your silence
