I woke up to the sun's rays hitting my face. It was early in the morning that I realized I had fallen asleep on the floor, holding a glass of wine. Empty bottles are scattered on the floor.

I suddenly got up when I remembered that I had work that day. I checked the time, and my eyes widened with shock.

"Oh Shoot!" I slapped my forehead in suffocation when I took a glance at my wall clock, it was already 7:30 am, and I had only 30 minutes to prepare myself for work.

I immediately took a shower and got dressed quickly. I only wore black fitted jeans with a white shirt and a black coat. I just put on some makeup to make me more presentable.

I didn't eat because I was so late, I directly grabbed my bag and went out straight to my house.

When I was already in the outside of my house. I stood up for a second as the bright sun hit my face. I closed my eyes and felt the rhythm of the brightest morning. I can feel the sun touch my skin which makes me feel the calmness of the surroundings.

I took a deep breath and whispered. "This is the start of my new journey. I need to be more stronger and firm."

I went straight to the office.

"What happened?" Sandra asked my office mate.

"Nothing," I said in a toneless voice

"But why do your eyes seem so puffy?" She asked once again and I confronted her, "Can you just please stop asking Sandra and mind your own business!" I said firmly with a high-pitched voice escape out in my mouth.

I turned my back from her, facing my table and a little conscience came over me.

"I'm sorry," I whispered.

"Nah, it's okay Sam. I know that something is bothering you right now, but I'm just concerned about you. I'm sorry," she said softly.
"No, you are not going to say sorry. But thank you for understanding." I said and smiled at her.

After that short misunderstanding. I was busy doing my paper works but someone interrupted me.

"Hey, Sam your mom is on the line."

I took the phone before answering.

"Hello?" said Mom on the other line.

I took a deep breath before speaking.

"Mom," My voice cracked.

If this is the case, Mommy already knows that I have a predicament.

"Shhh, everything will be okay. Don't cry, my little princess." She comforted me, now she can feel how my heart was broken. "I'm sorry that I was so busy at work." That's when I broke down in tears again.

"Mom, can you just hug me when we meet?" I said in pain.

"Sure, I'm on my way home. Don't worry my princess, mommy's gonna hug you tight." She said.

That's when I feel comforted. I lowered the phone and ended the call

After I wiped my tears I fixed myself to continue what I was doing.

After the office hour, I drove the car straight to our home. I can feel the melancholy of the surroundings; the only sound I heard was the sound of the wind as I drove the car. I feel cold around my body, and it seems like it will rain again any time. I solidly feel that there is no place for my sadness; I don't understand the pain I feel inside, and at any moment I will explode because of these weird feelings.

I tried to calm myself as far as I could. The street was dark and it lacked lights. The cold breeze rushed into my body and made me shiver.

My eyes widened when there was a sudden tremor that made me shocked in an instant.
Someone hit my car in the back. I honked loudly out of frustration.

"Stupid!" I burst out because of annoyance.

The next thing that happened was when the car stopped in front of me. I cursed so hard in my mind before breaking.

The window of someone's car slowly opened and I was frozen by what I saw on the inside. They did it on purpose to stop in front of me to show that they were doing a bad thing, kissing each other until their bodies were naked. Another pain had crept all over my entire system.

I lowered my head into the steering wheel. Starts clenching my fist out of hatred. "This sucks," I murmured to myself

I bit my lower lip, trying not to mind them, but I couldn't. My anger immediately ran into my nerves when the stupid girl grinned at me.

Then, all of a sudden, the car starts its engine and leaves in a hurry.

I felt like my body couldn't move after what I saw. My heart was aching in pain. I groaned loudly as my tears started to rush out of the corner of my eye. I was left in tears again and again. That was him; I can't be wrong. It was him kissing another girl inside the car.

Suddenly my sight became blurry. I stopped the car and went straight out. I groaned in tears while kneeling on the side of the road. I pity myself for crying over the same thing.

"Please don't hurt me like this," I whispered, and I lost consciousness.

I felt like someone was tapping my shoulder. I opened my eyes and looked up at the person beside me. She was smiling while stroking my hair gently.

"Are you alright my dear princess?" She asked.

"Where Am I?"

"You're here in our house," She said

"How did I get here?" I asked out of confusion.

"Ahmm... there was a handsome guy who helped you and brought you here. You are lucky, my dear princess because he was the son of my dearest friend." She explained

"How did he know me?"

"I don't know maybe he already knew you,"

"He's here." Mom added

He entered my room and immediately leaned against the wall. He seems familiar to me now. He was wearing a polo shirt with black jeans and black shoes, which made him more attractive. He is handsome; he has that strong appeal that makes everyone's heartthrob. He has nice body features; he is tall and slightly dark-skinned. His appearance is stunning.

"Ahh honey I'm going out to prepare your food, please rest well." My mom said.

I just nodded to what my mother said, and she went directly out of my room. It's just the two of us here. He suddenly took a single step and came closer to me.

"That jerk is your ex-boyfriend, who left you last night?" He asked. "How did you know?" I said. "Your mom told me."

I sighed and nodded.

"You don't deserve that kind of man." His voice became so angry. "I'm here, I won't leave you anymore." He added.

He suddenly cupped my face and kissed my forehead.

My eyes widened, and our eyes met. He has a perfect eye that could easily captivate me.

"Who are you?" I uttered.

"Didn't you recognize me?" He whispered, I could feel his warm breath in my ear and I was like giving him more access to mumble. "I'm the one you talked the other last night, and the one who gave you an umbrella." He grinned mischievously. "Have you forgotten, you hard-headed?"
