Chapter 9

Wrote this one on the night before kaveh's birthday and the next chapter I wrote on kaveh's birthday... 😬

The week went on pretty smoothly, alhaitham and Kaveh mostly cleared the rumors with the help of some girl they had to bribe from another school, she ended up taking down anything talking about them dating, and she did it oddly fast too. They will forever be thankful of that silver hair girl from star rail academy. But it was now Friday, the day Kaveh has to meet someone in the alley way. He woke up earlier than normal, not even alhaitham left yet. So they decided to walk together.

The two of them walked to school together in a nice silence, mainly because kaveh was to tired to start a conversation. Alhaitham went inside the school while Kaveh kept walking along the out side. When alhaitham walked in and up to cyno and tighnari he realized kaveh left him, he looked around and couldn't spot the blonde. Alhaitham shrugged, he acted like he didn't care, but he did, and he started to tap his foot the longer Kaveh didn't walk through the door.

"Are you ok?" Cyno asked, snapping alhaitham out of his thought.

Alhaitham nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine." He lied, but soon started to think if something happened to the blonde and he didn't notice because of his headphones was on mute.

Meanwhile Kaveh found the place he needed to be. A girl stood at the back of the school, her back leaned against the wall, Kaveh let out a sigh of relief that someone what actually going to be there instead of some freshmen pulling a prank. The girl pushed herself off the wall when she spotted him and waved, Kaveh waved back and started to jog towards her.

No one was around, it was just them, it did kinda made kaveh uncomfortable big in a small, dark, cramped alley with a girl he'd only talked to twice, but he didn't say anything.

"Cora, are you the one who sent that sketchy message?" He asked the girl named Cora. She was in his class.

The girl nervously giggled and nodded her head, "Sorry if it seemed that way, but yes I did." She said as she was playing with her pink and blonde hair as a stress reliever. "The reason I asked you here is because me and my friends are having a party, and we wanted to invite you." She said while avoiding eye contact, she wasn't being flirty, but more like he was scared of something, or someone.

Kaveh didn't even think twice before answering, "Sure! I would love too, when is it?"

Cora clapped her hands together and smiled, "It's tomorrow night. Not many people will be there, most likely 11 people at most, maybe less."

"I can ask cyno and tighnari, or even alhaitham." Kaveh said as he pulled out his phone.

She waved her hands in a panic, "Oh, no no. W-We want a small party, so you don't need to invite them. Anyways, class starts in 10 minutes, better get going." She quickly replied and rushed off, which was kinda odd, but kaveh didn't realize.

As he walked out of the alley alhaitham was leaning against the wall.

"That party seems suspicious." He said suddenly, startling kaveh.

Kaveh smirked, playing off that he just got spooked. "I would say you're just jealous that you didn't get invited, but I know that you don't even want to go." He said and crossed his arms.

Alhaitham sighed and stopped in his tracks, he placed both of his hands kaveh's shoulders to stop him too. "Kaveh I'm being serious, that party and how she's acting is suspicious. You should've asked her who was going." He said and let go of the blonde.

Kaveh continued to smirked, "What? Care for me?" He asked already knowing the answer, but it would be nice to actually hear from him in person.

Alhaitham stuttered out a few words before answering truthfully, and to wipe that smirk of of kaveh's face. "Yes, I care for you, and I know you know I do." He replied and turned his head away slightly.
