I sit with Mila, Kelly & Charles at breakfast in the hotel.I look at my sister. She's in a pretty good mood , even though it's so early in the morning...
„Guys are you excited about testing?" Mila asks me and Charles. Even if I could kill my sister many times, but just as often we are too similar. Racing just runs through our blood, probably because of our family name.
„Of course, we only have 3 days left to test but everything will work out fine and let's hope for an exciting season" says Charles motivated.
„That's right... I think it will be a bit boring for you both today, girls" I look apologetically at Mila and Kelly.
„Are you crazy?? I'm finally happy that you're back on track, the break was sooooooo long" I can see how Mila's eyes shine as soon as she talks about motorsport.
„A stranger could think that you two come from a family which is obsessed with motorsport like your behaver" Charles winks at me & Mila.
I can already see my sister taking a breath to answer quickly and cheekily as usual.. „Cha, you should be happy that you only have to race against one Verstappen otherwise you would have finished 3rd last year instead of second" She smiles at me and we give each other a high five. I mean she's right.. She used to be very good at karting years ago.
Charles clutches his chest and fakes pain. „ahhhhhh and that from my best friend that hurts" Mila hugs him. „Now don't act like a girl, Cha"
Kelly has to laugh and shake her head. „You two are really like heaven and hell"
„and which one of us is hell?" Mila tenses her eyebrows. „obviously you are hell and i am heaven" Charles says with conviction of his statement.
„You two don't give each other anything, you swap the positions of heaven and hell all the time"I said and I meant it. The two were so alike in their actions and opinions and their were also very good at teasing each other. Mila and Charles look at each other and shrug their shoulders and say at the same time: "It's kinda right" We all laugh.
„Come on Mate we have to go. Mila you take Kelly with you afterwards? You already have your paddock passes, right?" I asked again to be sure. „Yeah sure see you later Maxie and Lord Perceval" My sister wanted to tease Charles today, though and she succeeded too when i looked at Charles rolling his eyes.
„You know I hate it when you call me that" Charles say. Mila stick her tongue out at him. „As long as Carlos can do it, so can I."
Again Charles rolled his eyes and then we make our way out of the Hotel. „Your sister really gets on my nerves a lot" Charles says and look at me.
„You chose yourselves as best friends so you have to go through it now..hahaha" I couldn't help but laugh"I hope everyone else gets along well with her," I with concern.
"Don't worry, they'll love her," Charles replies with conviction.
