Chapter one- Promises are meant to be broken

Allie's POV
I saw a razor there sitting on the bathroom sink, asking me to use it.
Did Max really love me? Or is he just with me out of pity? We used to go to the park everyday but now all he ever does is being late every night. He would look like he just came back from a very heavy make out session. That was what I saw him like, yesterday.

Is he seeing someone else? No, he made a promise saying that he'll never hurt me.
My thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sound of Max walking into my room. I quickly hid the razor away.

I looked at him and was about to say something when he beat me to it, what he said next made my whole world stop and my heart shattered.

'Allie, I don't think we are working out plus you won't fulfill my needs so I found someone to do it for me, and I'm pretty sure you know who she is. Tiana you can come out now babe. Allie, just to let you know promises are meant to be broken." He told me

I was speechless. My three years boyfriend Max left me for not just any girl but my cousin. I looked at both of them but especially Max with hurt, pain and betrayal before running past them and out of the house we used to share.

All the painful but beautiful memories of Max and I hit me hard. I was sobbing so hard.
