Sarah pov

I was walking with Rick not saying much as he and Shane carried on a conversation behind me. We suddenly saw a huge buck and I just stood up. I looked at it and thought about how Rowan would love this. He loved to see the animals.

"We could use the meat " Rick said seeing my face. I nodded and aimed merles rifle.

Suddenly a shot was heard. "Nice " Shane said as he looked and I was frozen . My stomach suddenly hurt and I was scared to look down. "It wasn't me "I said as I collapsed

Rick pov

I saw Sarah go down and ducked .

"O my god I didn't see u guys" "is she ok" he asked

"FUCK no she's gotta hole in her gut !" Shane screamed

"Hershal gotta get her to hershal" he said "where" I said lowly

"Bout a mile that way" he pointed and I lifted Sarah as I just ran . Shane grabbed her rifle and I just held her. She's been thru so much . Both our kids are missing and she was just gunna shoot a deer for us.

We ran until we saw a huge farm house and I saw a guy on the porch. "Is she bit" he asked

"Shot by ur guy" I said and he ordered me inside

I got her onto the bed and he said "get the pillow case son" I did as he asked

A few minutes went by as he asked "she's lost a lot of blood do u know her type"

I shook my head and Sarah popped her eyes open. She breathed heavy. And stared "sweetheart we are trying to help u ok uv been in an accident ok" she calmed and just stared . She was reaching for her pocket and she grabbed his hand and motioned for it. He reached in and pulled out an inhaler "ur asmatic?" She nodded and he helped her puff her inhaler.

She calmed and he asked "hunny uv lost a lot of blood do u no ur type" she was week but got out "oooo nnneg "

"None of us here are but only another o n eg can give
U blood I'll try to figure something out" he said as Sarah turned to me

"Daryl" she said, I just shook my head "he's in the woods "

She shook her head and looked to him"Daryl's o nnneg" she said but she passed out again

"I don't know who this Daryl is but we need him" he said "where is he"the girl asked

"In the woods by the creek. He's with a group we were searching for some lost kids. " She nodded and took off.
I was sitting by the bed as hershal removed the bullet and delt with the bleeding.

I heard the door open as hershal finished "go back out Sofia" he said and I spun

"Sofia"I said and she hugged me" hey Mr grimes"

"Hunny where are Rowan and Carl" I asked as I knelt down to her.

"Carl ran off a day before yesterday before Mr .Otis found us." She said

"Us?"

"Me and Rowan" she said as I smiled.

"So ur Sofia's group" hershal said as I smiled and nodded

Sofia went to play as I heard Daryl's bike. He rushed up the stairs "where is she" he seethed

"She's unconscious but she's ok "hershal can tell u more. He put the cross bow down and walked in.

"This is her husband" I said as we entered the room

"I got the bullet out but she's lost a lot of blood. A transfusion would help" he said I didn't even think I just lifted my arm and some woman cleaned and stuck a needle in it.

"Why are u all here " hershal asked after Rick went out to greet the others

"Some kids went missing one of them was ours" I said as we finished. "She'll need rest it's best to let her sleep" I nodded and was about to go out when I heard the sweetest sound

"DADA" I spun to see Rick holding Rowan and I just snatched my boy. I held him in tears as I sat back down and Rick went out. "so ur rowans father" the older guy said

I nodded "and she's his mother" he asked I nodded and Rowan pointed "mama owie" he asked so innocent

"Yes bubba mama gotta owie but the doctors gunna make it better" I said as I pointed to hershal

"What happened to his arm" I asked seeing the cast

"U'll have to ask Sofia but when we found them it was clearly broken . He was a champ though" hershal said as I just layed back and I hear Sofia squeal for  her mama. I mailed at the reunion but the grimes kid ain't here.

Sarah stired and I told Rowan" shhhh" he giggled and I took her hand "Daryl" she asked

I poked Rowan and he said "mama silly"

She tried to get up but regretted it. She took Rowan and just held on as we helped her.

A knock came and it was Rick. "How is she. "

"U let me get shot pig" she said and I said "she's normal" they laughed and I went to take Rowan . He had passed out a long with Sarah and I just watched them. She looked happy and peaceful again

" I'll give u guys some space but watch her stitched stomach" hershal said and I just nodded I layed with them putting Rowan between us and just passed out

The next two days my wife slept as I struggled to get town to eat as he's used to his mama feeding him.
