the whole car drive i just sat in silence in the back while them two in the front were talking,

i was heartbroken for some reason,its like me and jadon where in a relationship and he hasnt even asked me to be his girlfriend yet.

alexis checks the rearview mirror and sees me zoned out

"imani, snap out of it love" shes says,

"cheer up please, i promise you will forget about it after tonight" lauren says

"mhm"

lauren and alexis looks at eachother,

i just sigh and just wait until we get to the place we reached and it was a backyard kinda party, bare mosquitoes and them things.

"wtf is that on your leg lauren" alexis says jokingly

she jumps up in fear and repeatedly hitting her leg,

i laugh

"ffs fam" she kisses her teeth and walks up,

we walk in and we see mad people there, like the backyard cant even hold this much people.

i follow alexis and lauren inside to go meet the host,

"hey lauren!" i hear a high pitched english accent coming from behind us,

i look back and see the "host" she was about 5'6, and very pretty. she had a dress on but it was see-though so you can her swimsuit under it,

"oh hey" lauren says and walks up to her and gives her a hug,

"hi imani, alexis" she says with a smile on her face

i take a quick glace and alexis and whisper to her,

"how does she know my name?" i ask

"idk lauren must have told her"

we walk up to her and she gives me a hug,

"yall want drinks?" she asks,

"yeah" we say,

we follow her into the kitchen and she makes us our drinks, i follow alexis outside to were everybody was. alexis eventually got up and went over to her friends which left me alone. after sitting there i hear a male voice behind me.

"hello" the person says

i quickly turn around to face the person and he smiles,

"hi" i say back

"can i sit here" he ask

"sure, i guess"

"you here alone?" he asked

"no, my friends and sister are here with me" i say as i look up to him,

"oh my" he says

"yeah, i know my eyes are red"

"you good?" he asks

"yeah, im just high" i lie

"you sure?"

"mhm"

"what happened?" he asked again,

"i just told you, im just high its nothing to worry about"

"okay" he says still sounding concerned,

-silence-

"whats your name?" i ask,

"reiss" he says

"imani"

as i look in his eyes i could have sense him looking mischievous.
...

at this time, everybody left and it was just me, reiss, the "host", alexis and lauren, well what i thought.

i go inside looking for alexis ready to go home.

i walk around until i hear laughing, i knock until i hear somebody said come in.

"its open" i hear a male voice say,

"have you seen alex-" i ask

i look up to my surprise i see the "host" sitting on jadons lap and his hand around her waist, he looks up and pushes her out of his hands and sitting up,

"nevermind" i say and walk away,

as i walk away i hear footsteps behind me,

"imani",

"imani, wait please"

i walk up a little faster until i get to the front door, he grabs my arm from behind me stopping me from opening the door,

"imani, it isnt what you think" jadon says,

"so what was it then? two friends sitting on top of eachother?" i ask,

"that isnt my friend.." he says

"so whos that??" i ask raising my voice

"my ex.." he said in a low tone,

"cherry on fucking top" i say with tears in my eyes

i pull my arm away from his and walks to the door and leaves the house, i walk around to alexis car and waits there, i try to turn on my phone just to see that it died, i go to the side and crouch down and start sobbing.

"see,i knew you weren't high" i hear somebody say infront of me,

i look up and see its reiss, i gave him a light smile

"just tell me the truth, please"

"hes a wasteman" he says

"yeah, ive should have known from the time i looked though his following and saw women with bbls," i say

"even though i only knew you for almost 2hours, your beautiful and you dont deserve this treatment" he says

i move closer to him and puts my head on his shoulders and he wraps his arm around me and rubs my shoulder, after a few minutes i take my head off his shoulder and his hand moves to my lower back and pulls me in, it was silent until he took his other hand and moved it to the back of my head and leaned in and kissed me.

we were there for a while until i pulled back,

"im sorry" he says

"its fine, i enjoyed it" i say

"yeah?" he said while smirking,

i shake my head,

i see alexis coming out from the corner of my eye with lauren and walking pretty fast,

"ill talk to you later" he said while getting up going back inside

"alright"

"where have you been?"

"outside.."

"this whole time?"

"yeah"

"ive been calling you"

"my phone was dead"

she kisses her teeth, "get inside im mad tired"

i get up and sit in back seat, alexis drives off while i put my head on the window smiling to myself,
