My baby don't leave us !

It was a letter from mom. I was invited for something. For my dads funeral. Is she serious right now she killed him 4 years ago and now she's planning to do a funeral. She also wanted the twins to go there.

Gloria: mommy what is it.
Me: it's nothing important . Anyway let's go in the car.

We got back home and they jumped on their dad.
Tom: come here my 2 princesses. So what did you do today at school.
Simone: we learned things about the mafia and a strange woman gave us a letter.
Tom: what do you mean strange woman.
Gloria: she said she was our grandma.
Tom: what !
Me: I'll tell you what happend but first girls go to ur uncle bill he has something for you guys.

They went running upstairs to go to bill who had bought them a doll.

Tom: so what happend.
Me: my sick mother decided to invite me and the twins to my dads funeral even though she killed him 4 years ago.
Tom: are you going ?
Me: idk , I don't want to but I mean it's his funeral you know.
Tom: and when is it ?
Me: it's in 3 weeks.
Tom: if ur going  with the kids I'll go with you guys it's to dangerous after all we still can't trust her.
Me: ur right.

Bill came back with the girls and they were all jumping up and down. Bill was happy because the girls were happy. It felt good seeing my girls happy with their doll. The girls then went with aunty Jess and made cookies with her. While they were doing that we were discussing to bill about the letter.

Bill: that woman is sick. And if y'all are going then me to. You know what let's all go together.
Me: that actually is a good idea we could help each other out if something happend.
Tom: ur right but we're going with guards to.

When the rest came back to the house we told them about the drama shit. And they agreed to come with us.

We went shopping for black clothes cause it's a funeral. I told the girls that they were going to a funeral of their grandpa and that he died in a car crash  because I don't wanna traumatize them with the truth.

The time finally came and we got ready. We went their with 4 cars.

We arrived and it was luxurious. Everything and everyone was clothed in black. When my mom saw us she came running to us.

Mom: they you guys are , I'm so happy to see you guys.
Me: no ur not stop lying and let's be fast and get this over with. And why are you acting so innocent and sad when you did this to him.
Mom: do the girls know what happend to him, should I tell them.
Me: don't you dare witch.
Joseph: there you are. We missed you so much.
Me: haha how sarcastic.
Joseph: look over there the girls perfect.
Me: what do you mean , I swear to god if you planned something again I'm gonna kill you both and this is ur last warning!!
Mom: don't worry this is just a funeral besides why would we spend our time on you anyway.

The funeral started and we all sat down. They closed the door and I saw they locked it and I thought shit they did plan something. I told Tom about it and he was pissed and was ready with his gun. He was also holding tight on the girls to make sure nothing would happen to them.

There were guards everywhere not only ours but they also brought a lot of guards. I saw behind me that Taylor was ready to jump my mom and Joseph. Then my mom gave a while speech about how sad she was and she wished she could go back in time to change things. Then she came closer to Gloria and said " you look so much like ur grandpa "
She almost touched her and I slapped her hand away. She got pissed and went to Tom.
Mom: I am happy to be blessed with such a good son in law.
She started fake crying but it didn't last and she started laughing. Was she going crazy or what.

Then Joseph came running and they both pointed a gun to Gloria. Tom directly covered her and took his gun. Taylor and the rest also took their gun and were ready to shoot.
Me: wtf why her, If you wanna kill someone kill me and leave the kids alone!! She's fucking 4 !!!
Mom: I got rid of ur dad for a reason I want him out of my life and she reminds me of him every time I look at her so I'm gonna get rid of her.
Me: what about me then huh I also look like him.
Mom: it's not the same she really gives me his energy and I GOT TO GET RID OF IT !!!!

She started going crazy and we called the guards. They came and everyone started shooting. Both the girls were scared but didn't cry because this was normal.

Me and Tom held the girls by the hand and were running while Taylor was shooting my mom and Joseph. Taylor got Joseph right in the head and got my mom in her leg. We arrived at the door and BANG ‼️
Someone of us was shot.

I look down at the girls and Gloria was shot. Jess went running to mom and shot her in the head and she was dead. Tears started going down my cheek.
Me: Gloria look at me ur fine ok everything will be ok.
Tom was furious but also sad at the same time.
Tom: we have to bring her to the hospital now !

We took her to the car and she was crying in pain and I couldn't hold myself from also crying. I wished I was hit instead of her.

We got to the hospital and when the doctors saw her condition they rushed her in. In the car she lost a lot of blood. They told us she had to be operated immediately.

They rushed her in a room and I was crying like crazy. I felt like I was going crazy. I couldn't lose one of my kids. She couldn't die.

Simone was in the other car with Taylor and Jess and they got home. Tom came to me and hugged me while also crying. But it wasn't normal crying. I never saw him cry like this. He looked really broken. He was so sad he didn't wanna lose her.

After 4 hours of waiting in the hospital the doctor finally came out.

Me: so doctor how is she doing .
Me: she's......😰
