I was sitting in the kitchen with ddot and I randomly blurted out
"I love you"
"Yea I love you too " he saidjust focused on her phone
"Not like that" I sighed "like genuinely love you love you"
"You know we can't " he replied

"So what" I said walking over to him
"Jus think about what everyone else will say "

And then I woke up
"Damnn" I said rubbing my head and looking around to see a sleeping ddot next to me "nigga has always been here" I said smiling and checked the time
It was only 2am
I went downstairs to drink water when I saw my kimi crying on the leaning on the counter
"Ohh hey baby" she said wiping away her tears and smiling when she saw me
"What's wrong ma" I said sitting next to her
"It's nothing"
"I'm not gon leave or stop asking you know that right"
She sighed and said "I don't know I just feel like I'm failing my own kids"
"With everything that has happened jay got shot in have no idea what he doing out there and now I know it's not hon stop and I might find my child dead"

She started tearing up again but she was smiling "alr david back to sleep"
I hugged her before we going back upstairs
