The cold breeze caresses your body and a shiver went down your spine.
Days like this in Tokyo made you want to stay in but it was for a good reason, you would see him and you would feel a different kind of warmth.
You wait in the middle of the park and you saw the familiar color of brown.
"Jun!" You called out and his face came up, brightening as you wave
You started walking toward him and he embraces you into a hug.
"I missed you." He says, you blush and bury your face in his chest
"Well, aren't you going to say it back?" He says, pulling you away from him to see your flustered face
"I-I missed you." You chirped and he just smiles at you
"Let's go. We got places to be." Jun says, tugging you toward the festival

"Me neither." He says

"Oh come on. You know I don't like that one." He huffs as he waltz over with you, hand in hand
"I've been dodging it all night for you, so lets just try a couple times." You say, hip bumping him and he stumbles over to the stand
"3 [poi] please." He says crouching down to the level of the many children around him

"You are not very good at this uncle." A little boy says
"You aren't either." Jun says pointing to the ripped [poi].
The little boy hits Jun, ticked off Jun flicks his forehead as his last [poi] disintegrates.
The little boy on the verge of tears and says,"That's what you get." before running off
"What a rude little jerk." He mumbles looking up at you, who's holding her laugh back
"Yah! What are you laughing about?" He says, standing up and jokingly getting in your face
"You." You laugh as you turn away from him
"The fireworks are going to start soon (First Name)." Jun says
"Should we find a place to sit?" You say clearing your throat and fanning your face
"Yeah, we can go to the bench by the pond." He says with a light blush on his cheek from how cold it was and because of you
"Oh, how romantic~." You say teasingly
"Shut up." He grumbles and you laugh at him again

"Goodness, I forgot how far it was." You say, reminiscing on the last 2 years you guys went together
"Me too." He says as you both sit down
You blow air between your clasped hands and rub then together.
"(First Name), I got you something." Jun says and you look up at him
"It's nothing much but..." He says pulling out a ring
You blush, excited and confused.
'Is he proposing or am I just overthinking it.'
Jun grasps your hand, taking you out of your head.
He has a weird look in his eyes and finally says,"Before you freak out, I'm not proposing not yet at least- anyway! Its just we've been together for such a long time and I thought a promise ring is fitting... if that's ok-"
You quickly say,"I think it's a good thing too."
"I was worrying over nothing." He laughs and takes the ring out
"Can I put it on you?" He tilts his head and you nod
He grabs your left hand slipping it on your ring finger. It fit perfectly.
You look at your hand in the light and he grasps it.
The fireworks start to go off and the colors shine on your faces as you whip your heads toward the sound.
"We have the best view." You say and you turn to look at him but he's already looking at you
You flinch as he starts to come closer and the hand that was once innocently holding your hand is now holding your face.
His hand pulls your face closer and your lips are pressed to his. He pulls away and laughs at your flustered face.
"I can't believe after all these years, your still like this." He laughs aloud
