If you haven't already heard there's a bill trying to be passed here in the US called KOSA (Kids Online Safety Act) it will cause major changes to Wattpad, AO3, and many other sights such as TikTok and YouTube for example. It was cause censorship of any and all LGBTQ+ content and basically cause all smut/lemon chapters in stories or stories that are for a more mature audience to be shut down. It will also allow parents to see what their children/teenagers are doing online. The bill will basically force people out of the closet which will only hurt them if the person in question if they live in an unsafe environment where abuse or harm could be done to them if their families found out. And the bill will cause constant surveillance by the government on these sites and things will just be a literal case of shit hitting the fan. People have made petitions to sign in order to stop the act.
