It was sundown, and you sat in the sedan. A red veil over your eyes as you are dressed in the beautiful red and gold robes
There were sedan carriers that carried the sedan. Nan Feng on your right, Fu Yao on your left, and Xie Lian behind you
"Is everything in order?" You ask, smiling slightly "The sedan carriers we hired are good with martial arts, so if anything were to happen- they can protect themselves. You don't have to worry" Nan Feng replies
You lower your head, looking down at your lap and hands "I feel like something is missing." Fu Yao turns his head to you"Well, what is it?"
"..Two maids for the bride" You say, snickering in your sleeve, as Xie Lian tries to hold in a laugh
Nan Feng and Fu Yao look at each other for a moment- then turned their heads away. They probably knew what you meant- and the two were displeased
It was now night, the moon only shined down- giving only small light source
You smile "Isn't the moon lovely Xie Lian?.." Nan Feng and Fu Yao gave a look is awkwardness and displeasure. Is Xie Lian going to answer that?.
Xie Lian is silent for a moment- trying to process what you just said. Until he realizes, his ars and face turns bright red, and he has no idea what to say or do. He stumbles on his words "Uh- y-yes, the moon is lovely..."
".." You feel your cheeks and ears get warm and flushed. Although he did not directly answer to your question- you can tell he brings back your feelings by how much he stumbles on his words
That is until you hear giggling.. "Do you guys hear giggling?" *Xie Lian asks
'I have to act weak, don't I?...' You shake your head, your smile faltering "No, I didn't.." Nan Feng and Fu Yao agreed with you.But you're just lying- you do hear things the giggling and singing...
Suddenly you hear growling.. Wolves have invited themselves here...
"Ah- wolves!" One of the carriers scream. Nan Feng and Fu Yao unsheathes their swords- charging at the wolves as the others charged too
Xie Lian had no choice, but to keep you safe- if any wolves decide to attack you and the sedan, it would be no good
A wolf stands in front of you and Xie Lian, ready to attack.. But you grit your teeth- and suddenly low, almost deep- growl-like a larger animal. The wolf backs down, lowering its ears and starts to run away from you and Xie Lian
Xie Lian is stunned, did the growl come from you?.. "Did you- did you just growl??" You smile innocently, tilting your head as you chuckled in your sleeve "..Hm? I did?"
Xie Lian's face flushes in embarrassment "Ah- I probably mistaken for you growling. Maybe someone else did. Sorry about that" *You smile in your sleeve, laughing softly "It's fine"
The wolves are now dead, while the other ones have ran away in defeat. Everything is back to normal, and the sedan starts to be carried again
"So what is the giggling about A-Lian?" You ask. Xie Lian's face flushes slightly by the new name "The giggling and singing was about the bride should never smile or cry on her wedding day.."
You sigh "So if I do- would anything happen to me?." "It's probably a threat. Maybe if you do- something bad could happen. Like kidnapping" Fu Yao explains
"But here's the thing" You start and the three looked at you "I've been smiling and laughing ever since I was seated in the sedan.."
