I walk to baggage and grab my suitcase
then walk out the airport and go to the front where pickup is

"where are you?" i ask jannelee as the call connects

"i see you mom, turn left"

i turn left and walk to her car

"HIIIII MOMMA" she jumped out the car hugging me

"awwww heyyy pumpkin" i hugged back swaying us side to side

she grabbed my suitcase and put it in the trunk

"Kairos at the house " she said as we got in the car

"awww i can't wait to see my grandbaby" i cheesed

" Oh and we're throwing a new year's party tn so come over" Jannelee pulled off

it took 20 mins to get to her house.

"this is niceeeee Jannelee" i said mocking the tiktok as i walked up steps to the door

she unlocked the door and i was immediately greeted by imani holding Kairo

"MOMMA JULIEEE HEYYYY" she side hugged me

"heyy sweetheart" i hugged back and grabbed kairo

"you want anything to drink or eat momma?" jannelee asked from the kitchen

"nahh imma just doordash to my air bnb"

"you sure?" she asked walking in with a bag of hot cheeto puffs

"i'm sure come sit down so we can catch up tho" i said cradling kairo as i sat in the couch

Jannelee sat on the couch next to me and imani sat on the couch across

"soooooo any new friends ??" i asked

We caught up for about an hour and then my uber came and dropped me off at the car rental place .

I walked inside and pushed my luggage to the front desk

"Hiii how can i help you" The young white girl asked with a smile

"i'm picking up the car i rented"
