Pocu and Rodet walk towards the city as the goblins stay behind. "Where are we going?" Pocu asks, putting her hood down again. "Put the hood back on!" He says putting it back on "But it's so hot!!" Pocu says tired "deal with it for now." "And I'm thirsty!" Rodet looks very annoyed "We'll stop at the tavern and get you some water ok?" He says visibly annoyed "Yay!" Pocu says. As the two enter the town, most of the citizens seem to stare at them. Rodet ignores them while Pocu looks around, seeing some of their disgusted faces. Pocu looks scared as she gets closer to Rodet. Rodet notices but doesn't say anything. As Rodet enters the tavern, Pocu looks uncomfortable due to all the loud yelling and laughing as well as music. Rodet walks towards the bar stool, making sure to have Pocu close to him. As he sits her down next to him in a, stool he notices that she looks uncomfortable but doesn't do anything. The bartender approaches Rodet. The bartender is an older lady who is an odd reptile humanoid. "The usual Galdur?" They ask "No thanks, just some glasses of water." Rodet says tiredly, "Water?" She says confused then seeing the little kid next to him nervously looking at the ground. "Ah I see now. I'll go get what you want.". Pocu seems to be covering her ears, Rodet notes, as she's put her arms into her cloak and her hoodies bigger than usual. Rodet then sighs and quietly claps.
His hands, a dark sphere surrounds Pocu. Pocu is covering her ears when everything goes, quiet she looks, around, confused as she sees the dark sphere around her. Rodet leans into Pocu getting inside of the dark sphere. "You can't hear anything outside of this sphere. So calm down and don't cover your ears. It looks weird." He says as he gets out of the sphere as the bartender arrives. Pocu looks happily at Rodet. She says thank you but Rodet doesn't seem to hear it. "What's up with the kid?" The bartender asks as she hands her a glass of water. Pocu happily gulps up the water as Rodet speaks. "She's a friend of mine's child she sent to me. She wants to go home back to Galas, so I have to do this annoying task." Rodet says as he drinks the water, "I see. But why'd you get water? You've never gotten it since you first came here." Rodet sighs "can't be a bad role model right? If I'm gonna be traveling to Galas with her, I gotta show her what not to do and what to do." He says continuing to drink water, "Ahh, I still remember when you first came here." The bartender says reminiscing "you're just some small kid with a talent for magic. Needed to make a quick coin and put on an amazing show." The bartender then smirks "heyyyyyyy Galdur?" She says as she slowly approaches him. "No." He says already knowing "awww c'mon man, it's been years since I've last seen your tricks!". Pocu drinks her water in happy silence as she sees the Bartender walk from behind the bar to next to  Rodet she starts to wonder what's going on so she puts her glass of water up and covers her ears using her hands outside of her hoodie instead of inside. As the bartender and Rodet are talking, Pocu pops her head out at the perfect time to hear the bartender say "Come man one more time! Put on a show!" As Pocu hears this, her eyes glow in excitement. "No! I'm not doing that again. I'm leaving." Rodet says turning around only to see an excited small child looking at him. "You aren't gonna disappoint this adorable Lil' girl?" The bartender says, standing behind Pocu. Rodet groans. "You know you'll have to be out of the sphere, right? I can't have the sphere up and do it." Rodet says to Pocu who furiously nods, Rodet quietly groans as she nods "If I do this you'll be quiet until we get to the carriage ok?" "Yes Sir!" Pocu says giving a small salute. Rodet claps his hands and the black sphere dissolves. "Fine. But I want 30 Silver." Rodet demands and the bartender happily agrees. The bartender goes up on a stage and a small magic circle appears in front  of mouth as her voice becomes louder. "Welcome you lousy bar rats! How're y'all doing today?" She asks as some people cheer, "Well, it's about to be better! About ten or so years ago we had the very first Magical human show and now another ten years later it's long await sequel is here!" The whole crowd roars in cheers. Pocu tightly covers her hears at the crowd's cheers starting to shake in fear and Rodet, who's still next to her, notices and claps his hands again. Two small discs cover her ears. "You won't be able to hear anything besides me and the bartender. Just sit back and enjoy the show." He says, standing up. Pocu looks at Rodet with a bright smile on her face. "Please welcome a legendary hero of the past who completed so many legendary tasks! He conquered the Leviathan! He killed the tyrannical dragon! Please welcome!! Galdur Rodet!" the bartender announces as Rodet walks on stage. As Rodet arrives on stage, the entire crowds cheer so loud the building shakes. Unexpectedly Rodet looks happy smiling and saying, "Hello everyone! It's been a decade since I last performed, so I may be a little out of practice! However, I am here to amaze you with my magical prowess!" He happily announces as the crowd roars in excitement again. Pocu also looks in excitement as he says this. Rodet claps his hands together and seems to be focusing the crowd going silent in anticipation. "Lost Memory's a Cold Night." Galdur says calmly and with a nostalgic tone. As he casts the spell, beautiful large snow flakes appear all over the bar, amazing everyone there. "What are these?" A person asks "They are something considered  a great beauty in my world." Rodet says the snow flakes spin around as they people look in amazement, however not everyone is amazed by this. Pocu looks at the snowflakes in a nostalgic way as she has a flashback to a village covered in snow. "My second trick is a simple yet amazing one!" Rodet claps his hands, a wand in his hand being made "I will attempt to fulfill the wish of one person in the crowd!" As he says this, everyone starts raising their hand, calling out for him to choose them. Rodet then spins his hands around his want pointing another reptile similarly looking to the bartender "What is it you desire?" Rodet says in an odd voice, the person looking entranced, his eyes glazed over "I- I want... I want to have wings to fly in the sky." The person says, seemingly snapping out of something. "Your wish is my command!" Rodet says, tapping the man on the head with his wand then clapping his hands. The man grows wings from his back "T- They're real... THEYRE REAL!" He says in shock as the crowd gasp in amazement "THANK YOU MR. GALDUR!" He says happily as he runs out of the tavern taking flight. Rodet then walks back on stage, his back to the crowd. "n- now this will be my last trick." Rodet sounds out of breath but it's not that noticeable. "This will be the most amazing spell I can cast!" He says as he wipes some blood from his nose and mouth. Rodet turns around a small dark circle seeming formed under his eyes. "Is everyone ready?" He asks, and the crowd shouts in excitement, "Then I must ask everyone for complete silence." As he says this, the crowd goes silent. Rodet takes a deep breath, lifting his hands up. He bends his pinky and index fingers then puts his hands together. "Verdaderos deseos." As he says this, a grey cloud covers all but Pocus' eyes. Rodet coughs out some blood before quickly cleaning it with a handkerchief. After a while the clouds disperse and Rodet is sitting down on the stage. "How'd y'all enjoy it?" He asks and the crowds don't respond, all still in shock at what happened until someone stands up and starts clapping everyone else soon following. Rodet takes a bow as he gets down from the stage and returns to Pocu with a very tired expression, "let's get to the carriage." He says, tired as Pocu happily follows. Before he leaves the tavern, the bartender hands him a small bag of silver. He nods as he leaves.
