"Well, that's it.", Cleo said as she rolled in the last suitcase. I frowned at the fact that all of my friend's belongings fit in 3 small suitcases.

"We should go shopping to get you some more things."
"Auri, I told you I'm fine."
"I know, but you have to get an outfit anyway for your date with Porter tonight."

"I have an outfit for our date. We're just going to see a movie."

I sighed but nodded anyway. I can't blame the girl for wanting a little independence after being coddled all her life, but I wish she let me help her more.

"So, are you nervous?", I asked as she sat down on the bed.
"Not really. I've already spent the night with the guy. I guess I feel comfortable around him."
"Well, that's good. I won't be home tonight, so you'll have the place to yourselves."
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to see a friend of mine. I'll be back in the morning before work."
"Does this friend have a name?"

I couldn't help the smile that crept on my face.

"His name is Noah and that's all the info you get.", I said as I made a zip motion across my mouth.
"But I have questions.", she pouted.
"And you won't get answers. I'm going to take a nap before I go.", I said before leaving the curious girl in the room.

After unpacking the three bags and finishing up a sketch I started last night, I went to get ready for my date with Porter. He said there was watching some movie he thought I would like.

I took a quick shower and after I was done, I pinned my hair back in a sleek bun. I changed into a pair of ripped jeans and a red fitted off-the-shoulder top. I slid on my favorite black stilettos and grabbed my black and red satchel bag.

"You look so pretty. Porter's downstairs.", Auri said before leading me downstairs. When we got downstairs, Porter was coming in from the backyard.

"Would you hate me if we skipped the movie?", he asked nervously.
"Of course not. What did you have in mind?"

He simply smirked before grabbing my hand and leading me to the backyard where I saw a gorgeous sight.

"Porter, this is beautiful

"Porter, this is beautiful."
"Not as beautiful as you.", he said as he kissed my hand before pulling my chair out. I sat down and he pushed my chair in.

"Just wait here and I'll grab the food, alright?"
