Chapter 8: CAN I...

                -Charles' pov-

I got to the room and took a shower, sat down in bed and not long after I heard someone knocking on the door.

It was Alouette crying.

"Can I stay with you?" she asks me.

"Yeah, are you okay?" I ask her as she enters the room.

"I had a fight with Arthur..." she tells me.

"Why?" I ask her.

Then she hug  me and I feel her tears wet my t-shirt. Then I put my hands on her shoulder and pull her away from my chest.

"Hey hey you don't have to cry, I don't want to see you cry" I tell him while wiping his tears.

She's so cute when she cries, but I don't like that Arthur made her cry.

"No... I can't anymore. He's been acting like a jerk for a while and the point is that I don't know what's wrong with him" she says in a low voice.

I gave her a t-shirt from me. I slept in the same bed with her. Alouette sat down in bed before me and I think she was already asleep. When I sat down, she turned to face me and put her hand on my chest, I couldn't help but take her in my arms.

I couldn't believe that she was in my bed and that I was holding her. He slept so sweetly in my arms, not long after I fell asleep too.

The morning I spent with her in my arms was the most beautiful thing. How she was sleeping with her head on my chest and I was holding my hand on her waist.

"You're staring at me" I hear her say. I was walking my fingers on her left shoulder.

"You're awake. I didn't know you were awake" I tell her.

She then lets get up, but I stop her.

"Please don't leave" I say in a sad voice.

"We have to go to breakfast" she tells me while I let her go.

We got dressed and went down to breakfast, everyone was there including Arthur. When she saw him, she didn't want to go to him.She went to get a coffee and went to the table where everyone was.

I got something to eat and I also went to the table.

I saw Arthur get up from the table and go over to her and take her hand and they both left.

-Alouette's pov-

Arthur takes my hand and we both walk outside.

"I'm sorry because I was a jerk last night, I was a bit drunk and didn't know what I was saying. I'm very sorry and I don't want you to suffer because of me"

"It's ok" I say while sighing.

Then he kissed me and it was like everything came back to normal with just one kiss he made me forgive him for behaving like the last jerk.
