🌻 this act is all vibes, no plot (which is why there's no title crawl!) it's basically a series of one shots depicting a few moments of young elia & anakin before the events of aotc. my aim is to write around 10 chapters??? we'll see how that goes!!
🌻 this era of skylarys is so chaotic siajshaja it's very little women/aladdin vibes where they also pretend not to know each other. my original plan for act one was to write all of tpm (it's super important in establishing lots of things which we'll get to later) but i got stuck on ch2 😭 SO TPM WILL BE WRITTEN ELSEWHERE!!
🌻 there's LOOOOTS of canon divergence with it to suit my ocs. the main parts are:
☀️ anakin is a year older than elia!! he was born in 42bby, elia was born in 41bby.
☀️ tpm takes place in 31bby (a year later) so ani is eleven instead of nine; elia is ten.
☀️ tpm does not take place on naboo!! it takes place on my original planet, aphelion. padmé still plays a role and the situation inspires her to become queen. she's also born in 44bby instead, so she is only two years older than ani. padmé & naboo still have their plot. the trade federation is NOT the villain in my tpm!! (padmé's tpm plot will be written in my padmé fic.)
☀️ r2 doesn't belong to padmé! he is elia's bio family's droid!! (which will make things EXTRA FUNNY with his friendship with ani and,,,, Other Characters 🤭)
☀️ last but not least, ani doesn't give alana the japor snippet 🫣 AHHHH NOW THIS IS MY FAVOURITE SECRET. my plot for tpm is still a work in progress, but there is lots more going on behind the scenes 👀
🌻 this a/n accidentally got so long oops. my trademark is that i literally do not shut up 🫶 BUT N E WAYS. im so excited to explore this fic. act two is,,,,,, messy. to say the least. I HAVE A PLOT, I JUST CAN'T WORK OUT HOW TO EXECUTE IT 💀 aotc is my enemy. (im cutting half of it from the fic bc i can't work out to realistically have elia on geonosis). but i want to have three tcw arcs, and i currently have two planned so i want one more to sit prettily in between. and we all know what happens at the end!! but im getting ahead of myself.
