Gasping for air, you wake up with a cry. Hands clutching at the steering wheel, you let out a shaky breath as you slowly unclamp your hands.

Letting them drag down your face as you take notice of your surroundings. You groan as the sun beams down on your windshield. Carefully glancing at the neighborhood you found yourself in.

'Am I going to have to live here now...?'

"AAGHHHHH!!"

You scream, banging your head onto the steering wheel as you take a deep, DEEP, breath.

"..." Your stomach rumbles as you take a cautious step out of the door, keys in hand as you quietly close the car door behind you. Keys held between your knuckles as a makeshift weapon, hurriedly walking inside your new... House.

Pushing the door open, you step inside and wander around the desolate area. Now that you were actually looking around, you took note of the furinature. Styled to your taste and the walls were painted in your favorite colors and designs.

As if were mimicking your dream home...

No.

No no no...! You would of remebered spending thousands or maybe millions of dollars for a house in some puppet neighborhood! You didn't see this place on any map, highway or street!

Wandering to the kitchenette, you open thecupboard. Noting the empty shelves and...

WAS THAT SOME RAINBOW SPIDER MAKING SOME MULIT-COLORED WEB!? DID IT JUST WINK AT YOU?!?

Shutting the cupboard door quickly, you lean against the sink. Pacing yourself as you slowly open the fridge door. Hoping that wouldn't be some old food that was gonna start singin'!

But thankfully, there was nothing except cool air hitting your face.

You close the door, crossing your arms as you look out towards the window.

That... House, was awake, but it wasn't looking at you. Rather, staring at your door- wait-

A small knock is heard as you back away from the window, creeping towards the front door. A small peephole placed in the middle as you look through it.

"Hello~? Neighbor?" The smallest puppet of the bunch stands at your door. A sleepy smile on his face as another voice joins in.

"Hello! Welcoming committee!" The giant blue dog puppet calls out behind the small puppet.

"We are?"

"Hmm, in way we are Little Buddy! But I'm surprised are new neighbor is up and at'em! Its already the afternoon! You sure Home said they were awake?"

"Uh-huh, Home said they got out of their vehicle a bit ago."

"Huh..."

'They're really loud...

Sighing, you open the door juuust a smidge.

Peeking your head out to see the fuzzy duo, you try to offer up a smile.

"Afternoon!" Barnaby, you recalled, tilts his small hat to you. Wally, noticing this, tries to copy. Giving a small bow to greet you, "afternoon."

"Yeah... Uhm... Afternoon? Did you, n-need something?"

"Well, if ya' must know. Wally here thought you'd like to come and get some ol' fashion dogs with us at Howdy's Place? Our treat of course. Whatcha' say?" The blue beagle puppet offered. You make eye contact with Wally, he smiles at with a certain hopeful look in his eye.

"...I- Sure?"

"Oh that's the most."

Wally replies as Barnaby nudges the small puppet playfully.

"Just-uhm.. Let me freshen up?"

You open the door more, the two stepping as you stumble out the door like a crumble cookie.

"Woah! You okay there?"

"Yeah! J-just getting my clothes from the car,"

unlocking your trunk door, you grab a few boxes. You eye the puppets as Wally moves close to your side. You almost loose your grip on the box, slightly glad you didn't. You did NOT want to crush him with the weight, either for your own self-conscious or fear on how the beagle puppet might respond.

"I can help." Wally states, hands limp at his sides.

"N-No, this might be a bit much for you.."

"Then allow me!" Barnaby walks over and tries to take ahold of the box.

"NO!"

The two puppets freeze at your outburst.

"W-woah.. I uh.. Sorry about that. I'll move out of the way, ya' look like you knew what your doing."

Barnaby takes a step back.

You don't respond, keeping a eye on the front, walking further inside.

Wally doesn't listen, opting to walk over to the trunk and tries to pull out a small backpack.

"Oof."

The backpack, a bit too heavy for him, causes him to fall to the ground.

"Hey! You okay Wall's?"

You rush back outside, eyeing the scene as you run over.

Snatching the backpack, yet the little yellow puppet still kept hold of it. Dangling with the straps as he smiles at you.

"Hi Neighbor."

"Pfft-!"

A laugh leaves you at the absurdity, soon of snickers and snorts as you chuckle loudly.

A laugh leaves you at the absurdity, soon bouts of snickers and snorts as you chuckle loudly.

Barnaby slaps his knee as his tail wags, laughing along. "Ha Ha Ha." Wally joins in, his laugh, although strange, made you chuckle harder.

The three of you finish your giggle fit as you carefully unlatch Wally from the backpack straps. Setting him down on the ground as you hold your backpack close to your chest.

"..Thanks for getting for me, Wally."

You give him a small smile before maneuvering away from him, heading inside.

"Will wait outside for ya!" Barnaby calls oL the door before you slam it shut.

The two take seat on the grass near a small tree on your yard.

"That's real sweet of ya' Wall's to take 'em for lunch. Never knew you had that in you kid." Barnaby winks slyly at his smaller friend.

"What do you mean?"

"Nothin' just teasin' and such."
