Chapter 17-Listen

Hello I'm back and I have started to watching Hannibal and just Mads Mikkelsen is just 😍 and I've rewatched scream like 5 times, also I've caved and Freddy and Chucky will still be in the asylum just in another section so we'll still see them frequently, I have to explain why I'm doing this with Chucky I'm not a huge fan of the child's play franchise I've only watched the first and bride of Chucky once so I don't think I can do him justice and he's a doll so he's not really a romantic love interest he's just going to be a comic relief, but with Freddy, I really don't like him as a character and he pisses me off and makes me uncomfortable, and I don't understand why people find him attractive like you have so many better options, so he'll be there but he won't be a romantic interest. Anyway please enjoy.

While speed walking down the hall, did someone escape, had someone died- if someone did you were hoping it was Claire. Before you could start speculating any further Steve said in a out of breath voice,
'It's Brahms, he's frustrated and we're trying to calm him down, by we I mean me and Dr Lecter, there are other patients there but are not helping, especially Freddy whose laughing his ass off, which is a load of bollocks, and Dr Lecter told me that it'll be best to get you' 'so you're now taking orders from patients now' you inquire with one eyebrow raised, Steve's face turns bright red and he defends himself, 'no, no I'm just listening to him since he's a psychiatrist and not because he scares me or anything' you look at him ready to question him more but you decide to drop it as it seemed trivial at that moment beside you were already at the door, you could hear mumbled voices and a not so mumbled laugh, Steve looks at you with concerned eyes you nod and he opens the door and allows you walk in.

What you first saw was Freddy practically on the floor laughing, Thomas and Michael looking unimpressed, Bo looking amused, Hannibal trying to calmly speak to the raging man (man maybe be an overstatement rather a man child), and finally Brahms himself he looks as if he's getting more frustrated by the second. 'So Steve what exactly do you want me to do to help this man who could snap me in half any second?' 'Just try and calm him down you're our last and best option, besides Brahms wouldn't hurt you intentionally and our patients surrounding him would stop any harm that comes your way' you still don't trust it but since Steve was practically on his knees begging you decided to walk up, but before you ask the patients around you to get an idea of why he's frustrated, you go to Bo Sinclair who you have yet to talk to. You come up to him, who has already moved his attention to you, he is the first one to speak, 'I remember as a child I would through terrible tantrums before breakfast and you know what my parents used to do?' You look at him with a questioning look, he continued 'my parents used to strap me to my high chair, that left marks, I suppose you can't do that to that to this porcelain faced man' he chuckled you gave him a small smile, he continues 'I think I know why you've came over to me and I do need to tell you no one really knows why he's this frustrated, if anyone does it might be Hannibal', you glance to the ex-psychiatrist,  you nod and he makes you promise that you'll talk to him later which you did. Now you decide to go over to Brahms to try and calm him down. You walk up next to Hannibal, where he slightly smiles and says 'it's a pleasure to see you
Y/N I wish it would be a different instance yet it is not, have you come to talk to Brahms?' (who has yet to notice your presence) you nod and he takes a step back to allow you to talk to Brahms, the hall has gone silent (I mean only your patients are there) everyone is watching you, oh how you hated that but now is not the time to delve into embarrassment.

You spoke more softly than usual, 'Brahms' as soon as he heard you voice his head whipped to where you voice was coming from, he stepped closer, you hated being the person of comfort yet here goes nothing,'Brahms, I understand you're frustrated but no one can help you if you don't show us why you're feeling that way', with this he didn't speak but just moved closer at a faster pace, Michael and Thomas were behind Brahms and you noticed how they were getting ready to grab Brahms to protect you but you made a small hand signal for them to stop, which they did. What you didn't realise was Brahms was right next to you and he gave you a bone-crushing child like hug, and in his child voice said 'I thought you left me' all this, all this was because of you? That's probably one of the most bewildering things you've heard, but you just sighed and smiled at him, 'sorry but you're stuck with me' but it felt like the life was being sucked out of you and Hannibal noticed and once again saved you from Brahms, you thanked him quietly and he replied, 'you never need to thank me, I'm only doing this for you' before you replied Hannibal had left to sit with a now calmed down Brahms to most likely scold him for his rude behaviour. You heard Steve let out of relieved sigh, Michael walked up to you and grabbed your shoulders (currently there were no guards looking over) and you assumed he was inspecting if Brahms harmed you in anyway, after coming to the conclusion he didn't, Michael stared at you for a second and left to do what the shape does. You noticed Vincent had joined his twin Bo, you smiled at him where he bashfully (as much as he can with his mask) looked away from you. You noticed Hannibal had gotten up from a now sulking Brahms after being scolded, and appeared to be walking towards you yet before he could the doors flung open revealing the one and only Claire who rushed up to Hannibal and purred,
'Oh Hannibal (you saw his jaw tighten out of annoyance due to her referring to him as Hannibal) I heard what happened with Brahms you could of called me, but well done' what the actual hell was she doing, he stepped backwards trying to pry her off of himself, 'firstly isn't it quite rude to call someone by their first name Miss Geloso? Secondly it was not me who stopped Brahms but the wonderful Miss L/N, if you need to thank her' 'Please call me Claire, why didn't you get me, I would of been more useful as Brahms prefers me (this in turn made both Brahms and Hannibal tilt their heads)' 'Well Miss L/N is our nurse and quite a good one for her first day' she scoffed, 'do you really like her, because I would surely be a better one for all of you~' she smirked, this pissed you off and decided to confront her.

'Is there a problem Claire?' She rolled her eyes, 'when did this conversation include you' 'since you started sneering me infront of my patients' you noticed that Freddy quickly walked out, what was he planning on doing? Nevermind. She huffed, 'do you think they really like you? No of course they wouldn't why would they like you?' 'Clearly they don't like you either' she seemed visibly agitated by your remake, but what you failed to noticed was that thanks to Freddy more and more of your patients were coming in to watch this or watch you. First came Patrick Bateman and Jason Dean, shortly followed by Billy and Stu practically running in, then came Candyman and Jason, with Norman behind them, the Sawyer siblings, Billy Lenz creeping in, Donnie Darko, finally Chucky and Freddy, yet there were some people you didn't recognise another doll with bleach blonde hair, black lipstick and a wedding dress under a leather jacket and a young girl with blonde hair and a white dress she seemed nervous but she holding the female's dolls hand for comfort, they were in the corner of the hall, watching. 'You know, Y/N no one here likes you not the nurses, not the visitors and certainly not your patients maybe before you get bit in the ass, leave' what was her problem, you rolled your eyes and scoffed, 'and why do they now need you to speak on their behalf? They're killers for fucksake why would they pretend to be nice to me?' You went to leave, you didn't want two fights in one day let alone your first day? She started to laugh at you, you stopped and looked at your patients, Bateman and Macher wanted you to turn around and kick her ass, Loomis and Myers were ready to intervene to protect you, Bates was giving you a sympathetic look, and Lecter and Candyman were giving you a complex look. Due to this you huffed and calmly turned around walking to Claire. She didn't notice you, she only noticed you when you grabbed a chunk of her hair and dragged her out down to the doors, some faces were bewildered, some smirking with pride with you, and some looked like they were about to laugh their heads off, you simply open the door and all the patients heard was,
SLAM
And both you and Claire left, leaving the patients there in the hall.

Thank you for reading this chapter, Sorry I finished it later than I wanted I was stuck in a random forest in England for 6 days, it was just me, Hannibal the tv show and some slasher movies. But I hope you enjoyed, also there is some bias with what characters you see the most as the characters I like the most you'll see the most.

Also guys I want to change my username but I want it to be slasher related, do you guys have any ideas?
