You eye a free seat, no... two free seats together, plenty of room to put your bag and have a quick sleep, given that everyone in the back calms down or doesn't cover your face in marker pen like what happened last year

You stride over, trying to ensure you get both seats when you notice someone sat there with their head down looking over a broad-leaved succulent. He glances up at you, a smiling emoticon replacing the concentrated stare

"Hello there!"
He notices your not so subtle glances at the succulent, still looking at you
"Oh! Do you also enjoy plants, I hope to learn more about them while we are in summer camp"
The emoticon shifts slightly to an open mouth smile
"I hope for the wind in my signal and the scent of the forest air, despite the fact I am lacking the needed senses to experience that"

You smile at him, sitting down beside him and placing your bag on your knee

"If you're interested in plants... perhaps we could go for a walk and see which are local to the area when we get there, it would help me form an internal map of the area as this is my first visit!"

"Yeah, that sounds cool!"

He is radiating a soft warmth throughout the area next to you

"What are you going to do when you are there?"

"I don't really have anything planned" You sighed, dropping your bag onto the floor and hearing that familiar clash of metal and boardgame pieces

"That is an anomaly in my research, normally people have one thing that they would <love> to do and strive towards in large life events like this, like some sort of overarching goal"

"I don't think far enough ahead, I'm going to be honest, I just want to sleep when I'm there"

"Then your goal is to sleep, why not rest now and reserve your very limited organic energy store for when we get to camp?"

"What... and let people throw my bag out of the window again? I'm good"

"Well, do not worry! I can keep a close eye on all your certainly mandatory and practical items"

You squirm against your slightly cushioned seat, worrying over the encroaching noise. Your eyelids are way to heavy to be concerned about that right now

"Alright..." You hesitantly relax, feeling yourself sink down a little deeper

"Goodnight then.... I never.. got your name" mumbling, barely half conscious

"Calculester Hewlett-Packard (V1.1)"

"That's a long name..."
"Can I just... call you Cal?"

Your vision fades into a soft, warm and fuzzy feeling, sensing only the movement of the bus and gentle hum from Calculester...

(That's it for part one, hopefully it's good! :D)
