YOU WERE WALKING DOWN THE HALL NEXT TO YOUR FRIEND.

the two of you made small talk while walking.

"ah (f/n) how was the minor test earlier?"
she asked you.

"mmm the usual I guess."
you shrugged.

"oh. (f/n) about the minor test earlier—"
you heard a familiar voice speak up behind you.

"ahh...I left something in the classroom! please go ahead without me!"
you said making a turn.

you were nervous about the results you didn't even have yet...that's why you had to make an escape.

"I'll hand out the minor test results now."
the teacher spoke.

you were nervous, what if you didn't pass and did terribly?! would kuramochi be disappointed in you?

you heard your name being called.

you got up, and your feet felt like jello from the nerves.

"you did well this time."
your teacher said handing you the test paper back.

you passed! you actually passed it! this was a miracle, or well hard work that you and kuramochi did. he had taught you this after all...

at lunch you told kuramochi to meet you at the rooftop. you were ecstatic to show him your test results.

when you made it there you saw he was already waiting for you. so you went up to him.

"kuramochi..."
you started off speaking.

"this is the highest I've ever gotten."
you said handing him the paper.

"thank you for tutoring me...and I'm sorry for avoiding you earlier..."
you said looking at him.

he let out a sigh before he started to speak to you.

"I'm proud but anyway, did you think I was the same as those idiots from your middle school?"
he asked you.

"if you still think like that...wanna try going out with me?"
kuramochi said turning red.

you looked at him with wide eyes. your face went hot, and you felt your heart race. you weren't expecting those words to come out of his mouth.
