For the entirety of the class, you avoided looking at Chifuyu—If he caught you staring at him, he'd think you're a creep.

You and Emma stuck together during break-time, talking about random stuff & getting to know each other better. She really is a nice girl.

"(Y/n)-chan?"

"Hm?"

"Have you ever been in any of Toman's meetings?"

"Nope.Big no-no for me from Keisuke"

"Well, I'll take you to one! Tomorrow!"

"Tomor-what..? I can't...that old vampire won't let me—"

"—Who cares...But, I can't believe we've never met...Mikey and Baji have been bestfriends for years"

You & Emma had to go to different classes now, Emma was pretty sad, but you pushed her to her class anyways.

Same thing as the morning...

You got in class.

Looked around.

Found a spot next to the window.

*Eye roll*

Someone tapped on your shoulder.

But it wasn't Emma, it wasn't a girl, he wasn't even smiling—He was smirking.

"Fancy meeting you here, Baji."He said as you looked down at you with superiority plastered all over his face.

"Nice hair-do. 'Suits ya, softie" You gave a sarcastic smile & asked what he wanted to end this awkward conversation as soon as possible.

"What'd you want?"

"Well as you can see there aren't anymore seats left but the one next to you" Chifuyu said as he signalled to the spare seat beside you.

You sighed but didn't want to start anything heated, so you let him occupy it for the time being.Class was hella awkward.

At the end of class the maths teacher started handing out sheets to half the students in the class, one of them being you.The teacher returned to his desk at the front & hushed everyone down.

"Students, today you will be getting some extended algebraic equations for your homework.As I said, they are extended so I've paired you up with someone in this class to work on the equations with you."

You glanced down at your sheet & saw two names at the top of your sheet.
