-IM TRULY SORRY FOR TAKING FOREVER, THIS NEXT ONE IS A LOOOONG ASS CHAPTER Y'ALL (about 10324 words and 389 paragraphs)!!! This takes place a few days before the next chapter! Chapter 17 should be out in the next couple days and I hope it was worth the wait as it's my favorite so far (and taking me forever to do T-T ) but until then, ENJOY!-

Throughout the entire restaurant, the overwhelming stale heat that came up from the black pavement outside, drifted throughout the big Pizza Plex and made the restaurant unbearably hot, and the humans coming in less and less by the hour.
The AC usually was up and running and worked better than a below -100 degree Artic blast, but something had been crawling in the vents, knocking an important duct out of place and making the rest of the building hotter than it was outside, now leaving them all exhausted and out of it.

In the Swamp, the air was usually humid but with the increased temperature, the sticky hot air became unbearable to any living or mechanical creature- all except for one.
Monty lazily bobbed on to top the fresh water, the cool water making him stay at his cold temperature.
He was bored, but everyone was too annoyed to hang out with, even Chica! She was so tired and heat exhausted that they couldn't do their workout routine today, Roxanne was already pissed off and won't move from her GreenRoom that had a gajillion fans blowing- As well as Freddy, the happy and bright bear was a little short and tired with everyone today, not letting anyone getting away with anything stupid or mean, not even CornBread could escape his annoyed glare.
The customers didn't stay long either, after five minutes of spending time in the golf course, they were drenched head-to-toe in sweat and had to leave due to being barely able to breath- and it actually made Monty happy with an empty attraction when it was usually busy.
He laid happily, the cool water making him feel as if he was drifting through the sky, unbothered and relaxed as he didn't have to perform for anyone or teach kids to hit a ball; All he did was take a nap and swim.

But as he did, he couldn't help but feel a little lonely. He wanted to be around someone, but Roxanne was too mean to be with right now, Chica doesn't want to get hotter by working out and SunDrop wouldn't come out of his playhouse due to the ground being made of “actual” lava this time. All his friends were too hot to do anything and didn't want to join him in the green water.

He sat up, making his way from the water to the ground, shaking off all the excess liquid on him and running out of his golf course.

He went to find his Bonnie! He hadn't seen him yet, and hopefully he wouldn't be agitated, but he usually was like that without the summer heat- but as he walked through the doors, he didn't find the bunny.
He walked to his door, as he did, he glanced at the ice cream bar. He was almost to the stage when he heard one of the sliding doors close and Bonnie sitting up, he was checking up on his ice cream with a stressed and tired look on his face as he rubbed his snout.

"There you are, Cher!" Monty said happily. "For an Ice Cream parlor, you'd expect it to be cold?"
He joked.
He leaned against the bar, the bunny walked to a different cooler and opened it and leaned in, letting out a worried noise as he watched his frozen desserts melt.

"That's what I thought, but I guess I'm the only one really worried about it." He growled as he tapped his nails against the glass.

"What's wrong, babe?" He asked, seeing that he was upset.

"What am I gonna do if they melt?" Bonnie bit his thumb as he tried to think."I'm freaking out over this Monty!"

"You could put it in the walk-in."

"I could, but I'm afraid they'll melt before I get it in there since it's around the corner, and I've been busy all day, everyone wants something cool to eat, and I can't give it to 'em because of the heat, it melts in the cone before i can!"
